This pad is MUCH more convenient than erecting my big old ironing board in my very limited workspace for medium to small sewing projects. Does not smell strongly of sheep - but does smell *enough* of sheep that my cats LOVE to lay on it, so I have to store it on edge where they can't get to it or my things come away needing to be sticky-rollered to get the cat hair off. Performs beautifully, nice and large, very, very good value for my money. I am pleased with this item alone, the other items were extras and fairly nice on their own, especially if you have an iron that will stay on when laid flat (mine does not as a safety feature, so this item is less useful and I might give it to a friend). The items in the zipper bag were helpful little things to add to my existing collection of small sewing tools and I have definitely used them as well.

Perfect size and worth the money! Works very well on the counter or on the table or on the ironing board. Not heavy so very easy to keep moving on and off the cutting board or wherever you are using it. Irons fabric perfectly!

I bought this wool mat after seeing it used in a video by one of my favorite youtube crafters. This mat is the perfect size for pressing small pieces of fabric, setting seams, etc. I keep it under my sewing table and it’s so much more convenient than having to get up and go to the ironing board every time something small needs a quick pressing. I will say it’s bigger than I thought it would be (my fault for not checking size), but it’s actually more useful to me than a small mat would have been because I can use it for more than just setting seams, etc. It’s also useful as a pin cushion while sewing. I just stick the pins in the mat as they are removed from the piece I’m sewing. So, for the price, this is a handy, multi-use item that deserves a place in any crafting/sawing studio.

I purchased this mat as a backup for my main mat. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised when this may performs as well as my expensive mat. The only difference is the thickness of the mat. Amazing as it is, there is probably no more than 1/4" width of the two mats. What a super bargain!This mat does smell like wet farm animals at first, but I think that's the same on many of the mats on the market. I think that's fairly common with all mats initially. The cute carrying bag is kind of a nice addition for storing my other mats in as well. The silicone hot plate thingy works well but I have 3 or 4 of them on hand from previous purchases. I now use it as an additional trivet in my kitchen.

I've had this pressing mat for a few months. It's easy to use, thick, heat resistant and performs exactly as it should. I like the versatility of it because it can go wherever I want it to. Didn't use the iron rest as I'm using a smaller iron. The little pouch is nice for seam ripper and small sewing items.

I got two wool felted mats. One 17 X 24 inches and the other 10 X 10 inches. I like that the price was so affordable, and I got two!!! And a carry bag and a few other little and useful items They do smell a little when heated, but that is to be expected. This was super value for the price I paid and quite useful. I highly recommend this product.

The items are ideal.. However, due to the material, its woolen, and I am sensitive to the touch.So I use a old baby diaper, big enough to wrap over it.. problem solved.
