Very good item used for creating some custom mirror pieces. I was able to cut with no. Issue. There was a bit of a Learning curb but once you practice, it’s easy to use. I recommend using gloves

This item is terribleIt cost me more time and effort than I needed to spend on this projectI’m left with a ruined mirror and have to replace the mirror nowAll I wanted to do was slice the chipped area off and instead I was making the chip bigger and biggerThe glass breaking in circular chunks.All the mirror chips and aggravation I could of went to the glass shop and spent $20 to get an already cut piece. Instead I’m literally left “picking up the piecesâ€Amazon is asking I mention these thingsEasy of use: thumbs downValue for money: it’s now costing more than it’s worthSturdiness: I guess it scored high in this area, whatever that means.

I bought a glass aquarium lid online and was sure I knew the dimensions I needed. I was off ¼"(insert face palm here). Since returning it wasn't an option, I knew I needed a glass cutter. This was the same brand that I remembered using decades ago on a construction project I worked on so I ordered it. I received it very quickly.I knew that taking just a ¼" off the edge of the two piece lid would be tricky, especially with the hinge not allowing me to lay the glass flat on the work table. I watched a few YouTube vids on the subject and found two that addressed the subject of trimming a small piece off the glass with out it running into the big piece. It's not just a simple score and snap like on bigger pieces.With the instructions from YouTube I learned to make the score and then use the little ball on the end to tap the bottom of the score line, while giving gentle pressure to the top side and carefully turn the score line into a running crack that can be snapped off with some pliers. It was a fairly clean edge but did need some smoothing with a piece of coarse emery cloth and a little help with the Dremel sanding drum.

This cutter is small and convenient, and is really easy to use. Makes great cuts, and I'm very happy that I can re-use broken glass to make smaller pieces instead of disgarding the whole piece.
