So, I just got it delivered through Amazon for $23.00 It fits my AK47 perfectly as if it was made for my DPMS AK47! I think DPMS is the best manufacturer of AR15s and AK47s. I will go shooting soon and I will see how well it works. When I installed the unit, I had to mess with the tension for a little bit, but once I got that right, it fits and clips on very tightly. It fits so well that it seems it was made for my DPMS AK47. I will revise my review and tell, everyone, if it worked at the shooting range or not. So, I will be back! Oh yeah, I also bought a Trijicon clone scope, it is a Savage Hunter model. and I will review that as well. See the picture!"Revised:" Well, I went shooting and I am sorry to inform all of you that this side mount failed! After just 60 rounds it came loose and almost hit the ground. It does work if you remember to always check the tightness as you pump rounds down range. So in that way it works. But I think you should have a mount that is able to stay put. As it is I had to really crank down on it to make it stay put. So for me a fail, but perhaps for you a pass! The price is right too!

Think about being right handed and only having your left eye to look down range... This did the job for me being able to look 125 yards down range through my scope and double tap the bullseye with the Umarex Hammer 50 cal. Not as sturdy of a mount as I'd like, but does a great job non the less. I Will be purchasing a few more for my other rifles.

I really wanted to like this mount. I'm a gunsmith, and understand how to correctly tension a QD mount like this. Unfortunately, the mounting system on this product will not stay secure. After just a few rounds, it loosens up. Complete waste of time and money.

Product required some minor fitment to the adjustment nut but the fit is excellent.Strong. Sturdy. Zero wobble.Low profile.Purchased to mount a 3X magnifier and romeo red dot.Cost was the leading factor for purchasing and the quality is the bonus.Disclaimer: This review covers only the original install. No rounds have been fired to test the durability.Con: Left hand shooters will find some restriction in the trigger well as the mounting clamp tends to protrude down the left hand side. I was able to get my non-gloved finger in the well. Should not affect right hand shooters at all.

Works as advertised. Relatively heavy attachment for an already heavy weapon.
