The hose-to-pump connection features a quick disconnect with built-in check valve, which allows for convenient setup and portability. In the grand scheme of things, this pump is priced on the low lower end of test pumps I looked at. We used it today for the 1st time and were impressed on how well it was put together, right down to the braided hose. Awesome tool at a great price!
