Good for the price, doesn't handle seaweed great, but if you have relatively clear water this thing is a blast to fly around. took it out with the kayak and had fun racing it around without any fear of losing it. The low battery warning does work, though it's possible you might think it's the out of range warning.

i like this boat. it has all of the features necessary like out of range warning, a button to flip the boat back over in case it capsizes, a demo button to watch the boat perform a figure 8, and a low battery warning, It is easy to control and has ok speed. The waterproof design keeps the batteries dry and water out outside of the boat. The batteries last long enough for me.

On the landing / product page it states "fast RC Boat-Built-in brushless 180 horsepower motor", this is not true. I knew at 180 horsepower there might be a language barrier issue, and that it might be a mistake for a 180 size motor, but also stating that it is brushless when it is not, is where I draw the line between product manipulation and out right fraudulently duping our American public.This boat isn't self righting either. Meaning it will not flip itself over again if you capsize (prop side up in the air from a serious turn). Water does get into the bay too.I'll give it one star, as for it is water cooled.At 49.99 at the time of writing, this is not a bargain nor a good deal. Have a look around here on Amazon, and your going to find fully sealed boats that are self righting, and brushless for about the same price.

Ive wanted to take these out to the river for a long time, but my son and I finally got our shot the other day when my SO and her entire family took a trip to Mackinac.We tried these in multiple conditions in the lake, glass, tiny waves, and waves just under getting white capsOn glass the batteries lasted a long time but wasnt a ton of fun, unless we were drag racing boatsThe just under white cap waves were obviously the most fun, but it does kill the batteries alot faster.The larger waves tend to flip the boat very often when turning, but you also didnt need to use the self righting button either then, because the next wave would push it back on its bottom.The boat would easily right itself with a quick blip of the throttle if it didnt.These were a ton of fun, and having the ability to turn down the speed allowed my 3 yr old to also have a ton of fun with this boat keeping it artound the dock area.Overall, my 3 yr old and 14yr had a ton of fun with these, honestly if your going to or spend time at the lake, snag a couple of these for the bedroom trophies to have fun with.

ok the boat is made well has a rugged steering setup but when i ordered this it claimed it was brushless it is NOT! brushless so it's pretty slow and much less efficient. for this price you can find a brushless option easily. also the hull is glued with superglue i assume to keep water out but this makes it impossible to get to the esc and in turn the steering servo wire so if that goes the boat is trash unfortunately

Pretty nice RC boat. It goes a decent speed, and the battery life is also good. I haven’t been able to flip it yet, which is surprising, so it seems to be able to stay upright well.

Not the biggest or fastest rc boat we have but it does handle nicely. The batteries last a while and it can go pretty far away. It has a feature to beep warning you that you are too far away or if the battery is dying so it's easy to drive out in a lake
