IF you are looking to replace any of your keys make sure you use Youtube to know how to remove and replace the keys on your keyboard. This key fits my MacBook Pro and it works just like new!!!. Make sure you pop the right side of the key then push key to the left before removing/ popping it off otherwise it will break.

Worked like a charm, I have a lot of cats and dogs so fur gets under my keys sometimes, I broke one so I had to order a new one and it fit perfectly!

Worked great. There was no damage to the hinge so I did not need to remove it. To hook the left side of the hinge I used a spring hook to lift the right side of the hinge to get clearance. Once the left side was in place, simply snapped the right side into place.

Went to the Apple Store with my broken plastic scissor clip and down arrow key. They were unable to fix and only offered replacing the entire keyboard for $480. I really just needed the scissor clip piece, but bought this to be sure it was the right size. I still feel like 12+ dols. is ridiculous for this tiny piece, but it did work. It would have been nice if it had come with directions of how to install for this price, but it didn’t. After a few tries, I found a YouTube video with directions for putting it on. I got it fixed. Four stars because it worked, but no directions and still seems ridiculously overpriced.

I bought this after my infant accidentally ripped the key off of my MacBook Pro. Once I got it on, it worked just as well as the original and you couldn't tell the key had been replaced. Getting it on though, was a nightmare. First, I didn't even realize Mac keys could be removed until my baby ripped the key off. Also, I thought you could just push the new key into place, but that is not the case. It's kind of hard to get the key on and I had to watch a video on YouTube to get the key in place.WARNING: If you DO try to push the key into place, you will break it! I wish instructions for installation came with the key, but they don't. So if you're like me and you're not a MacBook key installer pro, watch a tutorial before you try putting this key on.

The down arrow key on my MacBook came off somehow and I couldn’t put it back on. The inside hinges had bent in or broken off completely. Was able to easily replace the key. Bought two sets just to be safe. Highly recommend!

There is no rubber cap with the package and without rubber cap, it does not make sense to buy this item. I purchased without rubber cap and feel like, Its a waste. Now I have to go to apple store and fix my key.
