This screen is better than the original 2017 Chevrolet Colorado screen. Easier touch navigation and I think the screen is brighter. Instructions online were good. The hardest part was taking off the original screen. No need to glue as double sided tape is already attached. For $99 it’s a no-brainer.

Really wish I hadn't spent a year fighting it before I replaced it. Ghost touch was off and on in my 2017 Colorado until the unit became completely unresponsive. This took an hour from start to finish and probably half that time was trying to remember where I left my heat gun. Watch the video and it makes it easy. About 15 seconds of heat per edge and the glue cut like hot butter. Don't be intimidated, difficulty level is on par with changing your oil.

Easy and inexpensive repair for my 2019 Acadia Denali. All you will need is a few basic tools and a plastic prybar to remove the trim surround. The only problem I ran into was removing the old glue from the LED box. It appeared to be some kind of hot glue. I spent at least 90 minutes removing all traces of the old glue. I would have completed the entire job in about 40 minutes if not for the glue removal. Once installed it looks and acts good as new (maybe even better). It's a perfect fit, but only time will tell if it lasts longer than the original. Highly recommended for any DYI'er who knows how to take it easy and follow instructional videos.

This is the 3rd screen replaced in my 2019 GMC Acadi with ghosting problems. First one did not correct problem,2nd one fixed ghosting but terrible display. This one required more work as old screen had to removed and cleaned. Outstanding display and ghosting is gone. Highly recommend this product.

The replacement screen was perfect, well packaged and arrived in just 1 day.Watched a couple of videos to figure out how to remove the infotainment touch screenfrom the vehicle. Using a set of high-quality plastic trim removal tools, I carefully removed thesilver bezel surrounding the touchscreen, which exposed the 4 hex bolts holding the touch screenin place. Unplugged 3 connectors from the rear of the unit and brought it in the house to replace the screen. One video showed how to disassemble the touch screen unit from the plastic that encases it.The tip that was the best in the video is that once you have the unit out of the plastic housing, bend the tabs and separate the screen from the silver box. That way you are only dealing with the glass and a metal frame. I put mine on a cookie sheet and baked it in the toaster oven for 2 to 3 minutes at 130 degrees to soften up the adhesive. Then I used a utility knife to separate the original touchscreen from the metal frame. Removing 100% of the adhesive was time consuming but is necessary for a quality installation. I used nail polish remover and Goo Gone. It took a little time, but this is a very important step. I was able to clean off 100% of the adhesive. Don't give up until it's all off. Reassembling the screen was straight forward, the new screen fit perfectly. Fit and function is just perfect!Overall, the process was fairly easy, just had to be patient and clean and assembly the unit carefully.This screen is well packaged and high quality.Good Luck with your repair, you'll do great!

Installation Video was one of the best I have ever seen, Screen worked perfectly after installation Only difficulty was removing the old adhesive. Nothing seemed to dissolve it. Just soften it and then the use of a microfiber cloth would help role the adhesive off.Thanks for a quality product. Saved me hundreds of dollars

Watch a lot of videos because this comes with no directions. Perfect fit 2015 colorado. Very well packaged, I don't see any change in picture quality. It did fix my dead spots and ghosting, 1st day installed though, I'll update if issues. Couple tips. Remove the Digitizer from the LCD by bending 5 tabs. You don't have to be so careful working around the LCD to clean the glue off. Also I had a wood burning kit with a razor blade attachment, it worked slick as snot. Saved 1200 bucks with 3hrs of my time. Happy camper so far. Good luck. PS. Take pics on disassembly just in case.

Replacing the screen took about 30 minutes, most of which was just separating the old screen from the display and cleaning. Fits well and works as expected. Phantom button presses are gone!
