Bought a generic universal remote and it didn't work. I wasted time entering all the codes in and had to return it. Opened this remote, popped in some batteries and it instantly turned on my Sony TV.

It took awhile to get it working. The button on the remote method didn't work luckily read more and found instructions to go to settings and add the remote then it began to work.

The buttons on this remote stick so if you push pause, after a few seconds it turns back on. Same thing if you turn off the TV a few seconds later, it will turn back on. Some buttons have stopped functioning. When I first bought it, it worked fine but after a couple weeks, I wanna throw it in the garbage. Don’t waste your money.

Left my Amazon firestick remote at a condo I was staying at for a ski trip UGH. Thank god they make replacements. It was not easy to pair to my Firestick - had to do significant digging and took me about 1/2 hour. The device felt cheap when I inserted batteries. However now that I have it working, it is great.
