I got this fixture because I needed a good dome in a hurry as mine had stopped working. I was in a hurry and needed it fast. So I went to Amazon and ordered something that I hoped would be decent and get to my house quickly. Things like this, it’s always a guess if what you ordered is going to be any good. So when it came I was so surprised! It turned out to be awesome! Very well made. Great quality! And it arrived in just a few days instead of the normal week and a half like most things do here in Alaska. I liked it so much, I ordered Another one that same day to match my heater!

We’re switching out several heat lamp domes and I chose these based on reviews. We’ve had one in service for a couple of weeks. Hopefully they will last.

Great if you have an XXL area to cover, I have a Large and long double turtle enclosure and this was too large even for the arm to hold. It kept rocking back and forth. Also, came bent. I returned and got a mini dome.

I have four of these. One I use with uva/uvb for the turtle. The other three have grow lights for the plants. All are thriving with the help of dome lamps.
