We had purchased 2 of these for our geckos. Neither is even close to being accurate! We have 2 more hygrometer/thermometer units that we have used for comparison. Neither of these measured anything even close to what ther others were measuring. At 90% humidity, radings from these devices were at 30% ( just after misting ) and temperature was reading 72 degrees Fahrenheit while the other 2 readings were upper 70's ( 76- 78 degrees ). These were a waste of money AND time!!

I have a 6 x 2 x 2 enclosure and so I have several hygrometers to keep track of the climate gradient in the enclosure. This one is the main one that is in the front of the hot side of the enclosure. This has been one of the better thermometers/hygrometers that I've used over the 10 years of having the snakes. These are super easy to read and don't need much know-how to understand how it works.

The temp portion is okay. It’s a few degrees off from my temp gun, however the humidity stopped working all together a few weeks ago. Can’t return because the return window closed shorty after it stopped working.

Previous thermometer stopped working. This did the job well, the alarm feature is good and came in handy when the outside room temperature became too cold and reduced the temperature in the vivarium.

It worked OK for a small while and then started massively under reading the temp thank god I doubleChecked before turning my heaters up as I would have had a tank full of cooked fish

The probe that sticks into the enclosure is only for temperature, not humidity. I'm using this hygrometer for a Brazillian Rainbow Boa enclosure which is too humid to have the digital part inside all the time.
