Seems there is a issue with the day bulb. We bought extras so we were always set and have had to change the bulb every 2 months. That's is way to often .

These work well. 1 daylight and 1 night time. So far have been using them for about two months. They are bright and quality seem nice. Hopefully they will last at least 6 months. My Gecko is nocturnal so I like the red light. That way I can see her at night when she’s active and it doesn’t affect her sleep cycle.

I realize being on 24/7 they will burn out faster than an ordinary light bulb that's only on part of the day (night?) but these went pretty fast. I suppose there's really nothing one can do, but if they lasted at least a month or so longer I'd give them the fifth star.

This is the second time I’ve purchased these. The first time the red bulb went out in about a week or so. I contacted the company and they basically I was on my own because I bought it from Amazon. I figured it was just a defective bulb so I ordered another 2 pack and the red bulb went out the first night! I’m done with this company, 0/5 stars.

I would not recommend this product or company.We purchased these bulbs in March and the first one burned out at the end of May. When I contacted the company for support, I was told they only support products purchased directly through their web site. Caveat emptor.Update: After I posted a negative review on Amazon, the seller offered us a refund for the defective product. Have revised rating from 1 to 3 stars for the follow up, but still not impressed that they were not helpful upon initial contact.
