The Restcloud Insect Rearing Cage consists of a stainless steel frame constructed from individual poles and connectors.
The mesh tent threads onto this frame to form a self-contained enclosure that is large enough for small potted plants and in which insects and other bugs can be reared and maintained safely.
The frame is positioned outside of the enclosure which means that there are no folds or crevices for bugs to hide in.
This rearing cage has a large zippered opening in the front panel that allows the addition and removal of plants and feeders.
In the centre of this panel is also a 5.5" diameter sleeve opening that can be used to provide food and remove insects with minimal risk of insect escape. It has 160µm aperture, fine nylon mesh on all sides.

This product is exactly what I needed. I use it to collect honeybee drones for their semen for attificial insemination. It is compact- not too small not too large- perfect for carrying around and placing wherever it is needed. Ample room for the drones to fly around. Perfect structural setup which feels sturdy.

This is exactly what we needed for temporarily housing a few bees indoors but the fine mesh just isn't a quality enough material. This has barely been touched by anything besides the bees themselves and it is seriously coming apart at the one seam already (as can be seen on attached picture).. great design overall but im extremely disappointed in the quality of the netting material and/or the quality control of the stitching/finished product.. for the price it shouldnt be tearing apart at the seems within weeks or normal use
