It works very well for what we use it for. I have to charge the batteries in another charger as they do not seem to charge with the usb plug in. That is not a real problem. We have stand alone chargers for all batteries..

This is a very convenient four pack of clip on lights. I got them to use at an open mic where we sometimes have more than one participant reading. These lights clip on to all our mic and music stands securely and furnish ample reading light without flooding the stage with it!Battery life seems good- and the available USB power port makes them more versatile. I have used them with a portable power bank rather than AAA batteries- a bit more economical, if slightly more complicated in stage applications.

These are nice little stand lights that provide a variety of light colors and brightness levels. One can generally get the job done, but since you're getting a 4-pack, you can even use 2 per stand for maximum coverage.Since they use a pretty basic attachment clip, you can also use them for any other close-lighting purpose where you have a surface handy for clipping them. I could see this being a useful reading light that you could literally clip directly to a hardback while you're reading, for example.One potentially weird thing to note: these take 3 AAA batteries to run (not included), or you can run them plugged in using an included USB-C cable. The instructions make it sound as though it's possible to charge them with the cable, too, but they don't have a built-in rechargeable battery, so that's not the case. But they’re great, and the little gooseneck is easy to position at a wide range of useful angles.
