My piano light was ancient (not antique, just old) and not really bright enough. We moved it across country with us - but then seeing it in the new home decided it needed to be replaced. We liked the brass of the old one, so we looked for something similar.This is a fantastic upgrade. It is slim line, has multiple brightness options - and it wider than my old light. I am very happy with this purchase.

I got this lamp to go on my Yamaha Clavinova, and am quite pleased with it. The black finish and sleek appearance go well with the style of the keyboard. The light is nice and soft but plenty bright for reading music, even at the lower of the two settings. The base is heavy and stable, and the lamp feels solidly built overall.

I like the low profile, saves space. Good light, I like the bright setting. Very sleek design, good reach. Easy on/off dim setting. Warm color good to light the area in general. Solid black satin finish.

I bought this piano light to be able to read music on my organ. Instead, I am using it on a desk for reading and writing. It is a very nice lamp.
