KEISSCO Zinc Alloy Meat Tenderizer The disk on this impressively weighty pounder reverses, giving you two tools in one. One side is smooth for flattening meats and poultry; the opposite side has “teeth” for tenderizing. Triple-plated-chrome construction over a zinc core adds heft.
To change disk side: Hold disk on the outside edge in one hand and unscrew handle. Turn disk to desired side, hold steady and attach handle to disk. Choose flat side of disk to flatten meats or crush crackers, garlic or nuts. Place meat between sheets of plastic wrap to avoid sticking. Choose toothed side of disk to break up tissue fibers and tenderize. Pound lightly to avoid over-tenderizing or creating holes in meat.

Heavy, sturdy, durable. Great change from the hammer type. It is dishwasher safe and maintains it's glossy finish. I bought one for my daughter and granddaughter after I found out how well it works!

This tenderizer is a beast! It's got a great amount of weight that makes tenderizing meat more an act of gravity and less of a physical exercise. But not to give the wrong impression, it's not so heavy that it's difficult to lift. I use the spiked end exclusively, though you can unscrew the base from the handle and use the flat side if you choose. It does a great job with anything, chicken, steak, brisket, etc.It's simple to clean, hot water across the teeth will make any remanence dislodge and then I just let the dishwasher take care of the rest.

The device is comfortable to hold for long times when working on a batch of meat. The large, flat surface allows the user to get pieces of meat very thin without tearing and with uniform thickness. Easy to clean. It appears it will last just about forever.

This is Exactly what I was looking for. It's not stainless steel, but I don't think that matters. This will definitely get the job done. It should last forever. Feels good in my hand, I won't have to work as hard as I do using the mallet one . This is a keeper. Off to pound some chicken😊
