Good quality needed for those of us in trades. I have the original rigid pipe wrench made in Pennsylvania probably 50 years old still works great. You can tell if anything they have improved in the past 50 years of making pipe wrenches witch is rare these days. This one is coated in a nice rust proof coating you can tell its made to last. The teeth and adjustment screw on the newer model definitely look more stout than the older one only time will tell if it'll last like the old ones did. Says right on a sticker on the side of it, if it ever breaks or has problems return it to rigid for a replacement!

Had the smaller version of this pipe wrench and the larger version but nothing of this size(12â€} so it did not fail to deliver the quality I expected. Strong brand for many years. You can’t go wrong with this product.

Life time warranty you can't complain. The tool does seem a bit loose, but I've never used a pipe wrench that didn't jiggle around so I don't think it's due to faulty craftsmanship. The tool is hefty for sure, but it's made out of solid steel, so you can always use it to bang on stuff as well.

Great wrench for tight spaces or for when you don’t want to lug the big girls around the job. I bought this a while back, and I haven’t seen any chips or marred teeth after regular use on black iron pipe and fittings. By the looks of some of my coworkers’ teeth, I’d say that’s a major selling point.

Heavy duty, in that its moving jaw is not wobbly at all, and there is a lot of metal so there is enough handle to grip. Used it to grip stainless steel cylinder, managed to chafe the cylinder without damaging this wrench's teeth. It was able to grip a 2 inch diameter but I guess I operated it out-of-spec.Nearly canceled my order, glad it didn't get canceled. Quality, brand-name, without an import price tag thanks to Amazon.
