I just installed today and have not tested, that comes tomorrow.Interesting, the flow is from left to right and I needed right to left. Each component is sandwiched by an o-ring junction block. This was about swapping the location of the mounting brackets. Easily done but you need three hands to re-assemble it.The only grief or surprise was the pressure gage. The port appears to be 1/4 British Standard pipe. I had to swap the plug from side to side and the gage threaded in and bottomed out. I had a better gage and chased the threads to 1/4" NPT.All good so far. To be updated after use.

My initial impression on opening the box for this is that it is significantly smaller than I was expecting for a 3/8 NPT filter set. This is comperable to the smaller filters you would find at your local big-box store, with two particulate / vapor filter bowls, followed by a pressure regulator (pay attention to the flow direction, please, there are small arrows cast into the top to show you which way that is). The build quality seems quite respectable, the threads are well-formed, the powder coat is smooth and nicely done, and the gauge appears of reasonable quality. The filter bowls are plastic inside easily-removable sheet metal enclosures, with semi-automatic drains on the bottom that open under spring tension when the pressure is released. They can be pushed to manually drain if you see any water in the bowl as well. The pressure regulator knob is of the kind you would find on a compressor normally, twist to set, push to lock in the setting. The three segments are connected by wedge links, with O-rings between them. I found this handy, since I have reversed the rear wedge links to turn the mounting arms upwards, instead of the downward orientation they come in to facilitate mounting with a piece of angle iron under a table out of the way. I will be using this to serve as the water and particle trap between my laser's air-assist compressor and the laser itself.Over the course of the week I have been using this trap, I've had a small amount of water trapped in the first bowl, nothing trapped in the second. This corresponds well to the results I've been having with the single-stage Kobalt filter this replaced. I would really like this to have a single particle trap and a secondary desiccant cartridge for additional drying, but I'm not going to complain at all for the price. I have noticed no leaks at all, it seems quite solid, and even comes with some Teflon tape for the joints, and a couple push-connects for flex line if you're using that in your system. Overall, I'd call this a good little filter, although minus one star for being (in my opinion) significantly under-sized for it's connection rating. I will continue to update this as I get more time on it, but so far, I like it!

sort of small but still works well. I use mine only with my plasma cutter.

This product has zero instructions for installation and zero customer service. Product was installed and does not work, I spent hours trying to get customer service assistance with zero communication from RHI or Amazon.

The Guage threads are to short. Will not tighten. You have to buy a nipple and coupler to make it work. Why it isn't in the box?

This did better than I expected to. I had a single stage that would let some water through. I didn't want that this time since I was using Urethane paint. I put this inline and it took all the water out, it really surprised me.

This is a very compact unit but delivers exceptional performance. No moisture came with all required hardware. No leaking at all. This will save your tool and help with any paint job you are doing.

Very nice set up but you need 1/4 inch male fittings to install into regulator!

Mounted it to the wall and ran air lines, went to install the pressure gauge and the gauge hits the body of the regulator before the gauge is tight. Went and got a coupler to extend the gauge away from the regulator body only to find that after airing up the system the pressure gauge leaks air out the face. Replaced the gauge with a new one and after 3 weeks of use it collects no water and I still have water coming out of my air line. Lesson learnt, ordered a brand name more costly replacement and it has been great.
