I am a total newb at rug tufting so I would definitely be categorized as a novice Tufter. This is my first time ordering & using a tufting frame. The assembly process was a bit confusing. I had a few issues with the instructions, as they were not very clear, and in fact, I noticed there was an error in a couple of their assembly instruction steps. Despite that little debacle, I was able to figure it out on my own & once I got through that, it was all downhill from there & for the frame assembled quickly. The hardware & pieces all come with it, but I did end up il using my power drill rather than a manual screw driver. Once assembled, the frame proves to be sturdy & strong. It was way easier to use than I thought it would be. This makes for a good, reliable frame base, and I believe whether you're a novice or a pro, you will definitely like using this.

I really like this frame. Keeps material tight for most of my projects. Its a little cumbersome to take out strips to retighten fabric versus the carpet strips. I want to do that as little as possible because Im afraid the spike strips will break and I have no way of replacing them yet.Assembly was easyGood sturdy frame and high quality clamps

Instructions could be better, but not horrible. They did mix up the numbering and labeling of the screws in the manual. The exploded diagram on the seller's page shows the correct screws. The instructions have the long screws listed as #6 1 set of screws for corner pieces. The short screws are labeled as #7 1 set of screws for tufting frame. The long screws were even packaged with the corner braces. This is incorrect. The shorter screws are for the brackets. The longer ones are for the frame pieces. On the instruction sheets, in the package contents section, it states there are 100 zip ties. There are not any zip ties. I am not sure what they would be used for if they were included. It is easier with a drill/driver. I started putting the frame together in the middle of the living room. My husband took over and completed the process. I did not complain. After it was finished, I tried applying the fabric for the first time. My other frame uses the nail strips. This pin strip is a different process than I am used to. It will take some getting used to for proper placement. I do really like this Fram. If taken care of, it should last a decent amount of time.

I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 because I’m missing the clamps but other than that I love it

I am just learning rug tufting, and this is my first frame. It went together easily and quickly. It's a standard size for tufting. I used it once so far, and I give it 5 stars.

It is nice they should have included more of those spikes, they bend easily and break. It was easy to install

Good tufting frame for my rug making hobby. It is a good size, made well and easy to assemble. It is sturdy and a good value for the price.

I have been using those tack strips to hold my tufting material, and its always a pain and you need to trim it, or it could actually rip down further than you want. This allows you to clamp it in place and its very sturdy, I was able to set it up by myself and it was very intuitive to use, VERY pleased!
