Hand rivet nut tool tips
Choose the right size rivnut
- Measure the thickness of the sheet metal and choose a rivet nut with an appropriate grip range.
Drill the right size hole
- Holes must be circular; irregular or improperly sized holes will affect the stability of rivet nut installation.
Set right stroke
Adjust the stroke of the tool to prevent overloading and causing damage to the mandrel and rivet nut.
Mandrels are wearing parts
Mandrels are wearing parts, with smaller sizes being more susceptible to damage. Additionally, please use the tool correctly to avoid overloading.

If your reading this, you did the same as me with the rivnut puller. I'll make it a little tighter and, SNAP. The rivnut puller has a lot of pulling power for the small rivnuts.

Broke the mandrel during a job, needed a replacement. Tried a few others, they didn't fit or the thread pitch was different. This fit just fine for a great price. Really appreciate being able to finish the job. Highly recommend.

the mandrels are fragile need to ease your tightening ,problem is you might not get the rivet nut tight enough because the tighter they get the greater the risk of snapping mandrel
