Wow, exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a fireplace rack that would stand up to the flames.... This is it! Very heavy build, no doubt will stand up to many years of fires in our fireplace.

The fireplace grate works very well. I thought it was a little pricey, but after I looked at the ones at Lowes I felt like it was worth the money. We use our fireplace every chance we get. I feel like the fireplace grate was an investment in our home and in heating our home. GREAT ITEM!!!

I bought this in October 2021. I use it in my small outdoor fireplace 1 time per week on average, sometimes more, oftentimes less. I have access to a lot of fallen trees that I use as firewood. Most of my fires are for only a few hours. I burn ash trees and maple mostly. This fireplace grate stood up initially the first year, but is now completely sagging and I have to prop it up to keep the wood off the bottom of the fireplace. Perhaps it would have lasted longer if I used it indoors and not exposed to the seasons. I live in an area with all 4 seasons, so perhaps rust was a factor? I was looking for something that would last longer than 1 year, since all of my other grates have similarly degraded. I thought buying bulky would equate to durability. This looked sturdy and I was a believer early in the 1st year, but just 1 year and 4 months after purchase, the grate has sagged to the floor.

Its wrought iron, and it sits in the fireplace. I looks good and will probably hold up as long as the fireplace could. So fair took about 10-15 fires over the winter with no issues.

I need to make a warranty claim. Only 2 years and the back of my grate has disintegrated. I need my money back. This is not a lifetime grate
