My husband is working on a massive and complex history project. Filing and moving and storage is difficult and space limited for a project in which a lot of books are required. We were a little desperate when we ordered 2 of these but find them very good, exceptionally helpful. On wheels and double sided, they move beautifully and carry a lot for a rather small item. I ordered a different small one from another seller for folders which turned out to be plastic and not useful. But these are good quality metal. A little slippery to assemble but ultimately such a really, really good product.

Nice size, sturdy. Wheels good. Does not take up much space.

I received the product quickly, but the shelves are scratched up and one of the dividers is dented. Product is pretty small…once shelf dividers are in, it barely fits a standard size book on each side. It also feels flimsy when rolling around. Wouldn’t recommend.

As a former library worker, I jumped at the chance to finally have my own library cart. Even though I read the measurements, I was a little surprised at how small it was once I actually assembled it. There would be no actual pushing the cart for shelving at the library - you'd be awfully stooped over and sore! But, for around the house or a kids room, it would be great. I've currently got it holding some craft supplies. After reading some other reviews, I decided to install only on shelf to make use of the space better since the divider makes the useable space so small. I tried going without both dividers, but it really jeopardized the integrity of the cart, so if you want to do that, I'd suggest installing one or the other. Overall, not a bad little cart!

This black metal bookshelf is double-sided, featuring a total of four shelves upon which books may be placed (2 per side). The shelf is also designed with wheels and can be easily carted around where you need it as long as the shelves aren't overburdened when used on carpeted floor. The front pair of wheels features convenient locking pedals that you can use to make the bookshelf cart stop rolling around, which is a thoughtful and effective feature and seems to work fairly well.I'm a voracious reader and am constantly filling up any new shelf I get a short frame of time. It is really nice to have a mobile bookshelf that I can move around to wherever I need it and thus have many more books immediately available right where I want or need them, which I never had before getting this shelf and which is quite useful. It's quite a useful device. The most salient downside of the design of this bookshelf is definitely the fact that the shelves are designed for normal sized trade paperback books and not for massive technical hardcover textbooks. When I first got the shelf I tried putting a bunch of dense hardcover books about computers science and mathematics and technology (etc) on it but the books were hanging over the edge of each shelf in that case somewhat and I ended up putting those books on their backs instead of their underside/base edges.I also stress-tested the shelf by putting as many massive full-sized hardcover text books on a shelf as I could fit and eventually I heard the screws inside the shelf audibly groan under the weight of so many oversized textbooks. I immediately removed those extra books. In all likelihood, that means that if you leave oversized books on the shelf long-term then the screws may eventually bend and become unremovable. So, heads up on that.In other words, this bookshelf is designed to hold books that actually fit its shelf dimensions and not oversized ones. You can put oversized ones on it anyway, especially if you lay them on their backs, but the shelf clearly wasn't built for that use case. It is built for much more common trade paperbacks and novels and such, not for hardcover textbook tomes or oversized unconventional art books (etc). That's the main thing to keep in mind if buying this shelf. If hardcover textbooks are what you have in mind then you aren't likely to be very happy, but otherwise you'll be fine.It is a great little shelf for what it is designed for and I appreciate having it!

To be honest, I wasn't expecting this library cart to be quite as sturdy as it is, so it's already surpassed my expectations in that area! Assembling the cart was fairly simple and took maybe ten minutes. The parts were pretty clearly labeled in the drawing, and the instructions were easy to follow once you figured out which parts were what. I sort of expected it to be a little bit wobbly, but it's stable and level as can be, even as it gets pushed around and the wheels get locked and unlocked again and again. The shelves are the perfect size for paperback books or normal-sized hardcover books. When it comes to larger picture books (think children's literature) or textbooks/reference books, though, the shelves fall a little short. It's not due to the weight, but the shallowness of the shelves. So far I've used it to store arts and crafts supplies and to hold my daughter's few sets of paperback book series. It's held up beautifully and fits in with pretty much any decor/environment I can think of. This would be perfect in many areas of the home or office, including bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and even kitchens. My only gripe is that when I originally unboxed the pieces, one of the shelves was a little bit bent at one corner (see picture), which seems to have happened somewhere during the shipping process, but I was able to work around it during assembly. I just wanted to mention it in case others have the same issue.
