I have become obsessed with making home made pasta lately- it's so easy and far too much fun making piles of flour and dropping eggs in the middle, love it! Had problems getting dough same thickness so easy to get into press but not good at it- this adjustable rolling pin solved that instantly- so easy to use and clean... exactly what I hoped it would do!My son mentioned that I could use this when making my dozens of sugar cookies at holidays as well, didn't think of that! We had an ancient old wooden rolling pin that the handle on one side kept falling off. We'd been getting into pie crust making lately and having trouble getting a consistent thickness. This kit does the job, and the rolling mat that comes with it is perfect. The mat doesn't move at all, sticks to the counter like glue till you peel it up. The rolling pin is easy to change the ends on, and clean up is easy. We had no issues with the dough sticking to the roller. With the different sizes and sturdiness of the set we'll be using this for years. Two thumbs up on this purchase.

Rolling pin and rings work as advertised and the mat with lines on it is super useful for when a recipe calls for rolling out dough to a specific size.

Purchased as a gift for a child (10) who loves to bake. The rolling pin had a good quality weight. The color coded ends made knowing which one to use for specific types of dough easy. Perfect size for all ages groups. Great value.Con: There are multiple rolling pin ends which require additional storage space. I wish I would have thought of that; I would have included a small storage box to make keeping the pieces together easy.

Not sure how I lived and baked most of my life without this!!! Love this rolling pin! So easy to make even cookies! The mat is also great! I love that rolling out dough is now so super easy!

I've also used a regular rolling pin and eyeballed the thickness. This rolling pin is awesome and I wish I had bought it sooner for use in making sugar cookies. Not more guess works. The rolled dough is the same thickness everywhere making for perfect cutout cookies! I used a recipe that is good for stamped shortbread cookies and rolled 1/4" and they came out great! Not too thick or thin! I like that the thickness rings get screwed onto the ends so they won't get misplaced. The pastry mat that comes with the rolling pin is nice and large. It ensured that the cookie dough didn't stick to the counter and made clean up easy. I recommend this!
