This marble rolling pin worked great for rolling out bread dough. I'd previously used my wooden rolling pin for that and had to clean it off after rolling each piece of dough because it kept sticking even though I floured the wooden pin......this one however, worked like a charm..... I barely had to apply pressure for the dough to roll out.....and I didn't need to flour it.It's a nice solid rolling pin....and the metal handles are very sturdy.....no wobbling like I've got with my old wooden rolling pin.As you can see in the photos, this item was packaged very well.....no chance of it breaking in transport. The wooden stand is really nice to set it on when using and storing. When not in use, mine sits on my kitchen counter behind my mixer.I looked at many marble rolling pins on Amazon before I decided on this one and I feel like I made a good choice.I would definitely buy this one again.

Who is impressed by the design of a rolling pin? In this case, me! I have had several over the years and this is by far the most impressive because of its weight, the mechanics of the handles which allow for easy rolling, the beautiful materials used to make it and the handy stand to place it on the counter or in a drawer. The silicone mat and dough scrapers were good to have as part of the package as well. Would definitely recommend. It is a bit pricey, but the value is still good for all one gets in this set.

I recently purchased this particular rolling pin after a previous Cephalon stop performing. Immediately, the quality is second to none. The smoothness of the handles, the marble is clean, without blemishes and performes as expected. At first use, some of my crust began to adhere to the wall of the rolling pin. But, I covered my dough with more flour as well as the rolling pin, and this seemed to resolve that issue. It comes with a flat stand to support it when not in use. The price is comparable to this product. This one is a keeper for sure.

I bought this to replace my marble rolling pin with the wood handles that corroded and fell off almost breaking my foot. This rolling pin is well made and I can tell that the handles won't slip of like my old one.

The rolling pin looks nice sitting on the counter. We used it a few times and it functions quite well, as it is heavy enough to actually thin the dough out. My only complaint is the metal the handles are made from, is easily dented.

Perfect for what I need it for but on the other hand the handles could be a little more strong to put pressure on them without bending
