Okay, you have your first tea set, but now you need a tea table to put it on and accidentally bought one that you thought was huge, but turned out to be 6" square....what do you do? Well, first of all, don't go to a specialty shop and break the bank-find out if you actually want to use a tea table regularly. This is a perfectly functional inexpensive tea table that is large enough for 90% of most people's needs. It has an internal plastic reservoir, and comes with a handy bulb+plastic tube set to pump the water out of it without having to move it and risk spillage (don't let it get that full to begin with). It's quite decent to look at, and should last a fairly long time based on normal use. It's a great starter table to help dip your toes in the vast ocean of the tea world and get your gongfu juices flowing.

Although I haven't used it much, it seems to be well made. I believe it will serve nicely. I don't see much purpose for the bulb as the tray will drain with gravity. The bulb is also too big to fit well in the drainage tray.

This is a good tea tray for gongfu style usage. The removable plastic catch tray has a molded in drain fitting and includes both a plug (to use as a basic catch basin) and a tube (to allow it to drain into a bucket or other vessel).I would give it 5 stars, but unfortunately mine came damaged - it was shipped in it's own packaging which does not appear to have been designed for shipping and one corner was damaged and part of the base was cracked. Usable, but damaged, and I think if it had been properly packaged for shipment it wpi;d have been fine.

Took a risk buying after I read the not so great reviews. Didn't care so much that it wasnt the highest quality but then I got it and the wood is cracked all the way through :( If it was a scratch I wouldn’t care so much but I don't want it to fall apart even faster than it might've originally! Bummer because the size is perfect! Will be returning. Buy at your own risk (it also stinks like chemicals if you’re sensitive to that sort of thing).

Bought this as I was tired of having to wipe up minor tea spills from my quartz countertop (which would stain them, eventually). Looks nice, is big enough for all my tea things, and after a couple months is still stain free. Tray on bottom is easy to empty. Definitely would recommend.

Very fast shipping, packaged well, and no damage. The wood screen can be removed and you can access the plastic tray easily. You can also pull the plastic tray out like a drawer without removing the top! The tray has the squeeze ball and tubing to route drainage outside of the tray, and what I like most is that the drain hole has a plug, just in case you don't want to use the drain hose!For the price, this is worth it!

There is obvious glue on the outside, and the smell is pungent.
