I've had quite a few bad surprised with low quality shade sails I bought on Amazon, this one surprised me, it feels well made, I had it up when we had Santa Anna winds and so far it has held up.

We live in Central Florida, the sun can be brutal when it is 100+ degrees! We used 1 1/2 inch steel pipe 12’ long, cemented 2 1/2 feet into the ground and used wire with a plastic coating to attach the sunshade to the poles, raise and lower like a flag on a flag pole! This sunshade provides shade for our 18’X 48†above ground pool, giving us shade and some sun! The fabric is a good weight and the edges are sewn great and the corners are re enforced. We have watched it closely during a thunderstorm and it moved with the wind, we were impressed! It also has a 3 yr warranty! So far so good! We will take down during a hurricane or tropical storm.

When i opened the packaged, I thought it looked like a blue tarp. I wasn't happy with the woven plastic look of it since I've had other sails that were tightly woven and not plastic. I was skeptical about how it would look once it was up. Surprise! It looks great and provides lots of shade. It hasn't rained yet so i'm not sure about the stretching as some reviews have mentioned. It seems great for the money.

This shade sail is being used out in one of our paddocks to give additional shade. It was easy to install!
