I love the shade we are given after we have installed. I live in Southern California and I installed in the dead of Summer so it gave us lots of extra space outside to keep cool. So far we haven’t had any rain so I can’t comment on that nor has it been windy. So far we love it and have been enjoying our outdoor space.

I bought a Sun Shade Sail a few years ago. I love it. It keeps my back area cool while I do work outside. This year, I put one in the driveway. After this, I bought 3 more. I have them now on 3 sides of my house. I wish I would have done this a few years ago. The heat motivated me. The quality is fantastic. I popped a hole along then edge with a thin pick and awl, to have another area to secure it. I then threaded thin rope through the hole. I thought it might rip through the edging, but it didn't. I switched out the rope for bungee cords, which pull the sail, but it hasn't ripped.

It would be nice if it protected a little more in the rain. Rain becomes more of a mist. Definitely keeps you cooler during hot sunny days. Very good product Definitely sturdy. I covered most of my deck with it. We enjoy it

Just put this up. Was tired of all my umbrellas breaking from the Texas winds. Will see how it lasts through the summer here. The color is nice and bright and it should provide some good shade for my sitting area.

A shade is essential on our west facing southern home back porch. Previously we bought another brand than this which was 4x the price and lasted three years before breaking at the seams. This one feels more lightweight and has been difficult to fully tighten with the same turnbuckles we used before. It sags more in the middle. However, it is strong enough that in a wind storm an eye bolt pulled out of the wooden eves and the shade did not break. It does make a huge difference in the temperature underneath. I doubt it’s 95% filtering but maybe 80%.

Love the hardware we purchased. Easily assembled the sail over the hot tub. Looks fantastic. Great shade and water repellant.

We just built our deck and have been looking for shade options for the upper portion, which is 15’6†by 16’8â€. After reading the reviews and to allow 10% stretch, we ordered a 14’ by 14’ sunshade in sand colour. It arrived quickly, looks very good, and is well-constructed. We did not use the included rope to affix the sunshade and, instead, are opting for black light-duty ratchet straps.
