It's apparent that this trash can is designed to last with a stainless opening mechanism. The lid opens smoothly with the foot pedal and it also opens simply by directly flipping the lid open. It stands a little taller than our previous can, but it handles standard 13gal bags just fine.

Initially, I was hesitant to purchase this trashcan because of the price. Once the trashcan arrived and we started to use it I can tell you right now that it is well worth the money. It’s bigger than most, and very solid.

I'd been looking at trash cans trying to make sure I got a good one. I finally decided on this one. Even though it was a little pricey for a trash can. I decided to take a chance on an open box, because after all it is just a trash can. It said it had some minor cosmetic issues. Well! When it arrived, it was perfect! No cosmetic issues at all! I love it! It works great. I actually get a little excited everytime I open it! When I change the bag it is so easy and the bag stays secure! The step to raise the lid and the gentle, self closing it do convenient! As you can tell, I don't have a lot to be excited about in my life. Lol This trash can has brought me some joy!â¤ï¸

I was so excited when I saw this unit. My wife and I had just completely upgraded our kitchen and we had a lot of RED counter-top appliances. So, I bought this unit in red for around $130 or so through Amazon. Just so you know, there are 3 snaps on the back of the top piece/lid that snap/pivot on the back of the floor unit... All seemed well for a few months and then the middle snap/clip that holds the top to the back of the plastic can, came lose. I was able to snap it back into place a few times but then it never would snap back in and hold after that. Now, the leftmost snap has come lose of the bottom can also. Doesn't make any difference if you snap it back in place or not, first time you step on the pedal, BAM, it snaps out. Now I have an expensive garbage can that will not close properly. I have a friend, who after seeing this unit back about 9 months ago bought the same one for his wife. Guess what, the same problem. Please take heed to this message, while this is a great looking garbage can, it will not hold up long-term. I'm so disappointed and now have to go looking for another 24 gal can.

I bought my first garbage can in 2018 from Amazon Warehouse. Last month one of the metal parts came out. I got it back in but it kept coming out. I waited and waited and finally a can came to Amazon Warehouse. These cans are very sturdy, highly recommended by me.

This is a well built trash can and definitely worth buying if you can get a "very good" or "like new" unit from a warehouse deal. However, it's noticeably bigger than a normal 13 gallon kitchen trash can. 13 gallon drawstring bags are barely usable.

Bought this over 4 years ago, June 7, 2019 from amazon warehouse at a bargain price. Like new but was advertised as "Condition: Used - Acceptable". Not even the box was damaged.For a plastic garbage can this thing is built like a tank! Still looks like new at 4 years.Made in the USA.

This size is grate for kitchen! I only have to take garbage out once a week now!! That's a plus, The top opens and closes very quietly with foot operation. Style is quite nice too. Would recommend!

I had one of those ninestar sensor bins before this, and they gave me so much trouble with the sensor being stuck most of the time and the odour dissipating all throughout the house due to a bad seal etc.So far this bin has sealed odours well, as well as holding lots of garbage due to it's design allowing me to compact trash much easier.
