Fireplace mortar is a silicate product that when fire cured, sets rock hard - as strong as firebrick itself and withstands 2000° Fahrenheit. Comes in a convenient cartridge for easy repointing of fireplace brick within the firebox. Colors match most mortars. Passes ASTM E136 and E72. 10.3 oz. cartridges.

Bought to seal cracks in my fireplace in the winter of 2023. It worked through the winter. We will see how long it holds up. Looks good and is easy to apply.

I had a cracked firebox in my old Grill Dome grill and thes stuff cemented it back together and after firing it twice, one at low heat 250 degrees and then at over 500 degrees the cracks are solid. This stuff is black which really does not bother me but I was expecting it to be more like, fire brick color.

We were told that we would have to get our fireplace backing replaced, but decided to try fixing it first. This product sealed up the cracks and chips with no issues! It looks great and has been so easy to wipe down! This product saved us $500 in repair costs! I will definitely be keeping this around for future use!

If you have a brick and mortar firebox in your fireplace, and the mortar has cracked, this is the perfect filler. I used about 3 tubes as my fireplace needed quite a bit of fill. All goog now.

Seem to work well, bubbled up in places and did not stick another but all in all it did the job pretty well, it may have been my fault and not letting cure more than 48 hours before a lighting her up.

En mi caso lo use para reparar un asador tipo Green Egg en la parte de la ventilación de arriba que se quebró y quedo perfecto he usado el asador varias veces y esta perfecto.
