Our RV detector alarm kept going off, but couldn'tfind a leak, so we disconnected it. We read they were only good for 5 years. We purchased this one to replace it. It has a readout on it. It was super easy to replace! It fixed our problem. It's been a few months and nothing, yet. Now, we wait.

It is an easy install IF you get the template for hole drilling out of the box and use it. I found it when I was throwing the box away, sigh.

I installed this dual service alarm in the matter of minutes in my RV. I use propane, butane, and isopropane as well as electric appliances to cook. I sleep better knowing this fail safe is at work on my behalf. The prices less than half of the average market price for a dual system alarm.

Easy to install, small, and looks good. More importantly great peace of mind knowing I won't die in the night from CO poison! Even though I don't have propane installed in my van conversion, I may down the road and won't have to upgrade.Great purchase for safety. When I tested it the alarm is loud enough to wake someone from a coma. Every RV needs one of these.

If your rv / camper has a propane heater, you should have one of these alarms.
