I didn't realize how bad my original collet was until I got these. I apparently did something bad to the old one, and I'm glad these came in a multi-pack. I now have spares.

If you own a Ryobi cordless trim router, you must own these as well. My router collet was messed up out of the box, would not accept a router bit shank. This was the solution I needed, with back-ups. I tested all 4 and they work perfect.

I bought a 18V ONE+ COMPACT ROUTER that same without a collet and I panicked it would be difficult to find a replacement. This product saved the day for me. It dropped right in and let me start my project on time. Now I have three extra replacements just in case!

Out of nowhere, I starting having great difficulty inserting and removing my bits. (OMG, my mind just went for a swim in the gutter.)The original collet appeared fine. I took a chance and ordered these, and sure enough it was my issue. This was super quick to swap out, and fixed my my overly tight bit hole.

These little things are fragile, as collets go. You ‘ll want to have a few extras.
