Arrived fast and is described well on-line. Hook is firmly constructed and built with durable materials. This sturdy made type has been around for years. Typical for pool safety, especially if swimmer is suffering from electrical shock in the water. Per City requirements non conductive pole needs to be firmly attached. The City needs to advise where to buy 16' non-conductive poles. I cant find one. If one is having trouble in the water, the old adage is Reach, Throw, Row, and Go ... This hook on a pole is great for reaching.

Instructions say not to use with expandable pool pool most would plan to use. Does not include plastic snap button to lock into pool pole. You will need a screw with lock washer and nuts. To keep pole strong extend only a few feet. Spray a little expandable foam into handle end to make it float.

The hook seems sturdy enough but there was no hardware supplied in order to attach it to one of my poles.

Did not come with hardware to attach to a pole. It also says use with a non telescoping pole. That is what most pool suppliers sell. Having a hard time finding a straight pole.

NOT flexible. I could tell, if it bends, it'll prob crack.........thin aluminum. Works as expected.

Had to buy this to pass an inspection, I guess if you need to fish out someone this would come in handy. It is built well, just hope I don't need to use it.

Missing push pin needed to connect and be held by swimming pool pole. Hook is unusable as is.
