I've spent much time looking at weather stations and at their reviews. Much of the issue I've seen, with WIFI models, has had to do with WIFI connectivity. My 8' ft pole, 18" in the ground is approximately 30' from our home. Our home is cement block construction with metal studding. Connectivity status as you can see next to the humidity reading of (49%) is strong. My separate sensor is in the garage. Loading of the app, the setup/signup/registration was easy so long as you follow the instructions. The wifi setup can be tricky if you're not familiar with connecting to the sainlogic wifi and then to your home network but with little effort I was able to do so without issus. You have the option to connect and share weather station data with online sources. The console is clear. The outside weather device is well made and according to other devices I've placed next to it, accurate/consistent with my other (test) devices. I was unable to test the rain gauge with something else but it too seems to work well. Wind direction is accurate, having tested it with an annonometer and compass. Other measurements appear to be correct but are relative to where you are/where it's placed. As of this review, having had it running for several days, I am very happy with this product and recommend it.Additional: I've had the pleasure of working with Sainlogic's support staff in helping me set up connection to weatherunderground and overall connection between the outdoor unit and indoor console. A special shot out goes to Linda Wand and Ann Mei. Their assistance and dedication to what is exceptional customer satisfaction goes beyond anything I've experienced from a company in quite awhile. For this alone I would recommend this product and the Sainlogic company. My friend and family can actually check what weather is going on in my backyard. Great product.

Never having owned a weather station before, I did a lot of comparing features among Amazon’s offerings. The Sainlogic WS0800 with its 10†display console really interested me. It has a full compliment of interesting features so I went with it.PLUSES:The quality and size of the display is exactly what I was hoping for. The brightness and readability of the multi color display makes it easy on the eyes. It’s a great value for the money. It comes with a wallwart to power the console and it also has room to insert 3 double A batteries for portability around the house and backup power.The assembly and installation of the remote weather station module was quite simple. As soon as I installed the batteries in the weather station module it instantly began transmitting data to populate the display console. The accuracy of the data appears to be be just that, accurate.There are dozens of adjustable settings where I can customize data reporting to my own liking and my preferred and more familiar American units. The User’s Manual is very helpful and easy to follow.NEEDED IMPROVEMENTSAttempting to interface the device with my Wi-Fi system was difficult initially. I spent several hours trying to understand the cryptic picture graphics in the Setup Manual. YouTube wasn’t much help to me and seem to have come from people already familiar with the terms and customizing of Wi-Fi settings. I’m not.The instructions need a rewrite for their American clientele and so does the pseudo video.Customer Service has no published phone number and Amazon technical support tried and tried to help me set it up, but we never succeeded. I sent an email to Sainlogic customer service requesting help and had a reply in 30 minutes. They sent me a step by step set of written instructions in clear English (no cryptic graphics). Once I had those instructions, it took me 5 minutes to get connected to my Lan and to the Weather Underground website. From there on it was easy sailing.Included in my paperwork was a certificate to double the one year warranty for free. Quite a nice bonus.I would give five stars it the cryptic instructions were replaced with clearer ones and if they had a phone number to their own technical support department.

I bought this Sainlogic FT0300 to replace a 20 year old weather station which I left behind when we moved. After 2 days use, I'm still getting used to the many new features this unit offers - which are many!Getting the sensors set up and communicating with the display was extremely easy. Getting the display to connect to my WiFi was also pretty straightforward using my smartphone. I did have some difficulty getting the display's data online as the Wunderground (WU) registration codes don't clearly distinguish 0 (number) and O (letter). Or my old eyes and mind are not as good as they once were! If you only want to see the sensor's data on the display (and not on any app), you do not have to do the WU registration. However, if you do want to see the data on an app, first read the Sainlogic APP WiFi Setup Guide (which comes with the FT0300), and then follow it step by step and pay close attention to the WU registration codes to distinguish between 0 (number) and O (letter).As stated above, I've only been using the FT0300 for a couple of days and it appears to be a very good weather station. It appears that the barometer is a bit out of calibration when comparing it to others in the Wunderground community in my area. I will attempt to calibrate it soon. I do wish that there was some way to set up the display to scroll the highs and lows (like my old weather station did) instead of having to cycle push the max/min button. However, if I hadn't had 20 years of seeing the data that way, I probably wouldn't have missed it. I look forward to many years of enjoyment with this unit.

One of the main reasons I purchased this because a different brand was having a lot of issues connecting to my router. The setup of this weather station was simple and has been working great. The construction is solid and the price was competitive. Also very nice that I can connect it to popular weather sites so I don’t have to rely on a proprietary app to see my readings when not at home.

De installatie verliep vlot, mooie en duidelijke handleiding. Ik heb veel getwijfeld tussen verschillende merken maar deze sprong er wel uit door zijn nauwkeurigheid en door zijn robuustheid.Belangrijk is wel dat het station hoog genoeg geplaatst wordt in verband met de verstoring van het windpatroon en de windsnelheid.Een nadeel, al is het een klein, maar de batterijen van het buitenstation moeten wel bijna jaarlijks vervangen worden. Als het station dan hoog op het dak geplaatst is kan dat wel voor sommigen een probleem zijn. Maar eigenlijk, als je zoiets koopt ben je al een liefhebber van het weer en maakt dat niet zoveel uit. Ik ben er alvast héél gelukkig mee!

Tras instalar placas solares en mi domicilio, tenÃa la ilusión de ponerme una estación meteorológica que me diese información de la temperatura, viento, radiación UV, predicción de lluvias, etc... Finalmente me hice con una Sainlogic que encontré de oferta en Amazon.He de reconocer que funciona bien y proporciona datos precisos. Los materiales de la unidad exterior son buenos y parece una estación que aguante bien a la intemperie como es debido. Su soporte es duro y la instalación fÃsica no tiene la mayor complicación. Con un simple destornillador y en la pértiga de la antena de TV basta.Además tiene una pantalla informativa que hay que reconocer que es muy elegante (Aunque no vendrÃa mal poder graduar el brillo de pantalla). Lo complicado es encontrarle un lugar ya que es una especie de tablet grande. Pero entre que puede ir enchufada a la corriente o bien a pilas no cuesta encontrar una esquina donde no moleste.Además lleva un termómetro para exterior que puedes poner en la terraza y tienes otro sensor informativo.De momento funciona, da buenos datos y parece ser de buena calidad.Los peros... Instalarlo no se puede decir que sea sencillo. Primero es necesario saber inglés (o alemán). Y luego seguir el manual de instrucciones puede ser algo lioso. Sobre todo porque te pide registrarte en dos webs, logarte a la wifi del aparato, enlazar dos cuentas... En fin, no es algo que cualquiera sepa hacerlo con tan poca información. Me imagino que una persona con pocos conocimientos en informática lo puede pasar bastante mal para poner a andar este aparato.

Prodotto davvero valido a un prezzo davvero conveniente, almeno quando è in offerta abbastanza facile da usare anche con le istruzioni in inglese, forse l’unica davvero piccola pecca è che è in inglese anche la stazione e non è possibile impostare l’italiano. Però molto valida, la mia villetta è a 2 piani e la stazione è a piano terra la parte esterna sta sul a 10 metri e ben 2 solai e funziona egregiamente

Decent weather station got it working in less than an hour, instructions are clear, only thing is that I cant get the extra indoor sensors visible online on weathercloud, only on the display for the moment, if someone knows a solution please shout out.
