I use these speakers with a high-end receiver. The speakers output full-range audio with no audible distortion. Very easy to set up, modern and stylish design, solid construction. Recommended!

Purchased these for the rear surround speakers to replace the little, lightweight original speakers. They perform well in this application. They are well built and a good value for the $$. I would buy these again or look at other Salyin products next time I need speakers.

I got these speakers to go with a compact power amplifier and some retro audio components. Although my plan is to use them as what might be called "bookcase speakers", they did come with wall mount brackets as pictured so that is an option (still thinking about it)First impression is that these are well-made, solid speakers. Some might be put off at the 15W power rating but 15W is actually a lot of sound (more than most private rooms can handle.)The speakers are very well constructed, are solid (important for good sound) and have touches such as a bass port that show some thought went into the acoustics. The connections are bare wire clamp type that work with common zip cord style speaker cable. It is quite easy to hook up, just be sure you have consistent polarity for maximum in-phase audio quality. The speakers sounded very nice and I turned them up way past anything I'll do in real life and they still sounded great.I think these are a great value. I will mention that the bass port is on the back (pretty common) so be prepared to leave a little breathing room if you are planning a bookcase installation.

When I bought my amplifier (ages ago) Surround Sound was just becoming a big thing. I had no plans to use it with my tv, it's just for my tuner, turntable and CD player, which are on the opposite side of the room from the tv. All these years those extra input jacks in the back of the amp have stood empty. And then I saw these bookshelf speakers.Well! I consider myself a bit of an audiophile, and these little speakers have added a whole new dimension to my music listening experience. I bought some extra long wire so I could have flexibility when I placed them. but they have found a permanent home on either side of my head, behind me on the back of my sofa. In addition to my two large floor speakers, they really bring the sound to life. These don't get as loud as the larger ones, and they apparently don't amplify all frequencies (almost no bass.) Which is very cool, actually. They just bump up the whole sound quality. I can't really think of words to describe it, except to say that the music really sounds better and more interesting, because things in the recordings are brought more forward when these are in use. They "widen" the sound somehow.As far as quality, I'm very happy. And the appearance is very sleek and low-profile.I am very happy with these speakers and they have done a wonderful thing for my living room stereo set-up. And my ears! Next I plan to fill in those center surround speaker jacks!
