  • Replaces sand as a filter media
  • 50 pounds of ZeoSand is equivalent to 100 lbs. of sand
  • Lasts up to 5 years
  • Catches more particulate than sand and decreases back wash times
  • Ships 4 x 25 Lb. Bag

All natural ZeoSand weighs half as much as its volume in sand yet is twice as effective. The crystal structure, irregular shell, and high surface area make it a highly effective trap for fine particulates and ammonium ions compared to sand. It takes less ZeoSand to fill a filter - 50 pounds of ZeoSand replaces 100 pounds of sand and makes a far more effective filter media. ZeoSand improves your sand filters performance by trapping more dirt and particles decreasing back wash time. ZeoSand removes eye-burning chloramines so you can enjoy superior water quality while saving energy and reducing chemical usage.

Zeosand works faster and removes the smallest particles from the water better than normal pool sand. My pool is crystal clear sparkling....

ZeoSand was able to clean the bottom of the pool from very light dirt deposits in record time. I am very happy and advise everyone to buy this product even if there is a small difference in price, but the result will be in the interest of the customer.THANKS FOR THE SELLER,THANKS FOR AMAZON

BEWARE!! I should have done more research on this crud. Replaced the sand in my filter with Zeosand. Everything was fine for a month. All of a sudden the water turned cloudy with a green tint. I obviously thought it was an algae build up and acted accordingly with chemicals. No change! Ran filter, vacuumed, etc. to no avail. Then I started looking on line about how this stuff will leave green dust particles in the pool to make it cloudy. I should mention that I backwashed the material according to instructions before filtering pool. I finally had enough of dealing with this crap. Changed back to sand and started filtering. The water did not clear up because the dust particles were too small to get trapped by the sand. So, after about 4 days of filtering I added a cup of DE powder to the skimmer and holy cow! In 20 mins. I had to backwash and it looked like pea soup coming out. I did that 3 times (took about an hour) and the water clarity was about 1000% better. Gonna DE and backwash a few more times before closing for the winter. Bottom line is STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Changed from sand to zeolite. After every time I backflush the filter, the water turns cloudy. Doesn't matter if it's a short backflush or a long one. Takes a couple of days to clear up the pool again. Do not use this product.
