The Sanicompact 4C is a self-contained dual-flush toilet system used to install a half-bathroom up to 9 feet below the sewer line, or even up to 120 feet away from a soil stack. It incorporates a macerating system which can handle human waste and toilet paper in residential applications. The blade is made of a hardened stainless-steel material which eliminates the need for any service or replacement. The Sanicompact 4C is a combination of a vitreous china toilet bowl and macerator/pump built into one compact unit. This unit is specifically designed to overcome several common plumbing obstacles: 1 - Compact and flexible design for cramped areas with limited space. 2 - Eco-friendly; uses a minimum amount of water. 3 - Easy to clean with its sleek, glossy porcelain finish 4 - Comfortable design for people that have physical limitations.

DO NOT BUY! NOT USEABLE! CAN NOT HADLE WATER!To start off we had countless issues when installing these the main one being the motor burned out. When I reached out to the company, they were extreamly rude, stateing that "women should not flush tampons". I am a women, but never used this toliet, The thing burned out before we even used it. The only thing going into this toilet was water, and it couldnt handle it.Next, we had a suprise plumbing inspector vist. This lead us to learn that these toilets are not ever aproved for use in our state (IL). Our state required that we take them out, this costing a LARGE amount of money, We had to get a loan. Now Sainflo, is not allowing us to get our money back or return them. They have been very rude, Not helpful, and also selling in states where they should not be insalled. DO NOT BUY THIS. If you do you might have to get a loan to fix it to state standards.

I put this in my basement for a 2nd toilet. The installation instructions seemed to easy to be true, but they were REALLY as easy as it said! We're very impressed so far. My only complaint is the price, but without having to pay a plumber it is probably not bad.

I just got this toilet installed in my walk out basement so I cannot yet comment on its reliability but it does work. Its intended use is to give people in the pool a place to go #1 so saltwater isn't tracked across my hardwood floors. With that in mind I think its going to do the job nicely.I selected this model because of the ventless nature of the toilet but, if this were going to be a more heavily used bathroom I would recommend looking for a full size macerator/toilet. Many other brands advertise the ventless feature however, they call for a carbon filter and this unit does not. The carbon filter idea made me worry about smells in the room.Pros:Its small and no vent is required (which is why I selected this unit in the first place)It was not that hard to figure out despite port instructions (I am no plumber)I have not detected any smell from the unit (yet) which is something I was worried about with a vent free toiletIt disassembles relatively easily for as compact as it is so servicing it should be simple. (See below for why I had to take it apart)Once you get ahold of support they are helpful (also a con below)Cons:The instructions are HORRIBLE. They are just a page of images most of which don't make sense. The way this unit flushes is both confusing and not great. When you hit the button it fills the bowl with water then evacuates about 3/4's of it. It then waits about 5/10 seconds and evacuates again. I had to contact support to confirm this was expected behavior and nothing was wrong. A blurb in the instructions would have saved them a tech support call and initial shock on my part.It seems to move all the urine out of the bowl ok but, I put a significant amount of dye in to see how it was really doing and it left behind a very very light tint. Support seemed to think this is normal. I question how good this would be able to remove waste if being used as a primary toilet. In my use case it will be fine.It arrived broken. The pump/macerator are suspended underneath the bowl with rubber straps. There was insufficient packing material to prevent the pump from smashing into the the waterline (which is cheap plastic) and cracking off the curved fitting hooking it to the pump. Support very happily sent me a new one.Getting ahold of support is tedious. I had to call three different times. Once to confirm how I was supposed to hook the thing up, once to get the broken part replaced, and once to confirm the unit was operating correctly. The first time I got right through and the guy helped me no problem. The second time I called and was left on hold for quiet some time and eventually forced to leave a message. My call was never returned. I called back two days later and got the same result. Instead of leaving a message I just continued to call back throughout the day until someone answered. Once they were on the phone the customer service was good and my problem was solved. The third time I was sent to voice mail again so rather than leaving a message I just called again and again until someone answered. As the previous two times the person who answered was fine. This is designed to be a small unit and it accomplishes that goal but it would be hard for any adult male to use this without "splashing". Its not really unexpected based on its size but goes back to my recommendation not to put this into a heavy use bathroom. The seat it comes with is very flimsy plastic. It is also mounted in a way I have never seen before so it is hard to tell if a normal replacement is possible. I will cross that bridge when it comes but I suspect it will be a problem.

This toilet came very quick. Within a week of ordering! It is very compact but not uncomfortable to use. We love that it doesn’t have to be vented. We are using in our basement as a half bathroom/laundry area. I will note that the installation is not as easy as it seems. We ended up paying a Saniflo certified plumber to install it and also had to get an electrician to install a GCFI outlet as the cord is very short. Overall, after spending about $2,000 to get it installed and the toilet itself I would say it’s worthwhile if you don’t want to go through the hassle of breaking your floors up and having a rough in installed. Cheaper as well!

I recieved the toilet and had it professionally installed. Testing as part of the installation revealed a mechanical defect. Once flushed water continually ran and could not be stopped. Vendor and Amazon treated it as a normal return -despite a vidoe I had of the malfunction - and charged me a rstocking fee of $439. Yes, that is half the price of the product! How do you restock a defectice product? I hope the next buyer doesn't get this defective one as their order. It will take you 15 phone calls, hours and hours of frustration with no help from Amazon to get this resolved. Don't say you wrren't warned. At the time I purchased this, it was NOT an A-Z purchase. No excuse for Amazon... although did keep telling me the seller would not respond to them. Good luck. You've been warned.

Arrived quickly and well packed. My review score on saniflo support not the seller!I called before i made cut for sink connection. Service said cut 1/8 inch off end to connect sink.I did that. This then leaves no room for clamp to grab the white hard tubing some( you are hose clamping black rubber boot to this white plastic housing tube) . It will not stay connected. The white plastic piping needs to be longer for clamping!Long waits on saniflo customer support, hang ups and they don’t return messages.
