For the price I would argue this should be everyone’s first grinder. There are better when you are ready to invest, but this does what you and does it well.

Unique grind at a low price! Never thought I'd be able to afford a Santa Cruz Shredder; but now I can! Remember, tho - no METAL; therefore no magnet in the lid, and no keef chamber. It's a two - step, but the holding chamber is deep!

Giving 3 stars. Read the AMAZON description carefully not the Santa Cruz Product Flyer.This item is plastic. Not aluminum. Doesn't have a magnet. And doesn't have a screen for separation of crystals (kief) .What? You thought you were going to get top notch Santa Cruz gear for a fraction of the price! Think again, you really only get what you pay for.On the positive side...It's light weight since it's plastic. It does it's job and performs it's function. It's really not that bad it's just not what you'd come to expect if you've previously owned or used Santa Cruz.It's like buying that budget class luxury car... It's got the look and the logo so it's great for show, what's under the hood is a different story all together.All things considered, i got this for the price and the reputation of a brand i trust at a budget option. Im staying somewhere out of town, and i don't need to spend top dollar$$$ on a legit Santa Cruz it's waiting for me when I get home. So it's actually a great option for me in the temporary, it's does what I need it to do, and i can flex having it say Santa Cruz.If you're on a budget but want more than basic features, there's probably a better crusher out there. If you want the trusted reliability of a great brand at it MOST BASIC! Without having to pay top shelf, it's a decent option.3 stars for being a BASIC AF.

We ran a LOT of herb through this grinder and it held up great in my opinion. It did eventually chip a tooth but is still usable after.

Like its metal cousin, this hemp based grinder grinds your stuff perfectly. I went looking for the aluminum one to replace a worn out Santa Cruz. Very expensive! This "plastic" one works very well.

It smells like a dog bone from a pet store but it gets the job done, it grinds the weed perfectly but it's recommended to put small buds in the lid at a time and grind upsidedown so it doesn't break, if your grinding upsidedown unscrew the storage first, the weed storage is huge which you don't see very often.

The holes are pretty big, so it doesn't have much opportunity to grind. Still does the job though, but it makes an awful screech when I use it. 🤣

Loose tolerances, dull shredder posts - looks like a 3D printed clone.Don't buy - get an aluminum one instead.
