I am really happy with this piece of furniture from Sauder! I was a little skeptical purchasing on Amazon since quality control is lacking here, but it is a high quality sewing cabinet. Takes a little time, but easy to put together without a electric drill. The pieces are thick and heavy, not "cheap" looking. The vintage oak color is not as warm as pictured, but still a very nice cool brown color. The only thing it needs is one of those hydraulic sewing machine lifts that would make it level with the top of the cabinet for better ergonomics while sewing. Perfect size for an NYC apartment. I highly recommend this cabinet!!!

Much easier for 2 people to put together. Took about 2 hours to put together. This table the shelf underneath is low enough for a sewing machine to sit on for storage. Shelves in the cupboard side are adjustable and I was able to fit the serger and have storage for other items.

The actual cabinet build looks great and it's not hard to put together, however I advise you to have a drill or an impact on hand as you can't turn the hidden cams and screws tight with a screwdriver! The only things I have a problem with is there's paint chips here and there. And also the on basket had a large Crack in it. But still a great cabinet over all. It took about 2 and a half hours to put together.

This sewing desk is very handy! It has plenty of storage for all of your notions. There are 3 shelves within the right cabinet and little storage bins within the swinging door. The swinging door opens up and there is also a shelf to store your sewing machine. When not in use, everything can be put away inside the desk and the top folds down creating a small footprint. Be sure to pay attention to the hinges when putting the desk together. If you place the hinges on the wrong way (upside down) when assembling, the top will not align correctly with the swing-open door that’s supposed to lock together for support. I had to redo mine. Came out looking very nice! The color is soft and blends well with my decor. It isn’t too heavy, but feels sturdy. It has wheels on the bottom that allows the whole desk to be moved around the room as needed. I would purchase again if I needed another one.

I like the storage space, the work surface, the sturdiness of the table, the roller wheels that can be locked, the color/design of the table. It was a little more expensive than other similar tables, but it said there were fewer returns with this one and I can believe that. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I have recently converted our guest room into a craft room when not being used by guests. I was looking for a table that would be easy to clean up and put away and look like a nice piece of furniture for when a guest is actually staying in the room. This was hard to find (very few options out there), so I was excited when I saw this product by Sauder and it had great reviews. I received it a week ago.First, the packaging was very sturdy and secure...there was no damage to the materials inside and I appreciate the company making the extra effort to protect the pieces. The box was on the heavier side, but my husband could lift it down the stairs to our basement on his own. I would have needed someone to assist me. The assembly was rather easy, although a little time consuming...however I read that in the reviews so was prepared to spend a couple of hours putting it together...and it did take about 2 hours to assemble. The directions were very easy to follow, and I appreciated the humor written throughout the instructions. I was able to assemble it by myself, however I do pride myself on being fairly handy and good at assembling things. I did have my daughter help me lift the table upright however, but that was to ensure I didn't snap the roller legs on the bottom. My guest room is carpeted, so I assembled it on the carpeted floor (which was recommended to protect the wood finish). I had read a review that when they tried to roll their table on the carpeted floor, the unit cracked or fell apart in some way. This was not the case for me. My table is very sturdy and does not feel at all like an inexpensive piece of furniture that I put together. And I have used it every day, there I roll it away from my wall and then roll it back to the wall when I am finished using it and still have not had any issues with the table rolling or disassembling at all.I am very happy with this product and recommend it for any other crafter/sewer out there who is looking for something similar.

I am really please with this desk. It is very sturdy. It has ample room to hold my Cricut cutter as well as my computer tower. I love how everything closes up to be clutter free when not in use. The storage racks are very handy, and the extra workspace that the fold up table provides is excellent. It also went together easily and arrived very quickly. I would recommend.

My sewing room doubles as a bedroom so I needed a table that could easily be put away. It is great that my sewing machine can store underneath when closed without disrupting all the other supplies I have in it. I do not have any issue with bouncing when sewing, but the room I use is carpeted. Overall I am thrilled with this purchase.

I have room for my serger in the right side of the cabinet and coverstitch on the hidden one. It was easy to put together and inspires me to sew again!
