I didn't even know about Chrome needles until I learned about them on a youtube video. Then I asked my sewing machine guy about them and he said he uses them all the time. I'm glad I got mine. They have held up really well, don't have to be changed as often because the point holds up and they don't break. I even ended up having one go through the ball end of my pin that I missed while sewing. I don't recommend doing that however, it actually went through the entire plastic head because the thread was inside it. I pulled it out and checked out the needle to see if it was ok. It kept right on going like nothing had happened. Wow! Had it been a regular needle it would have snapped in half for sure or the very least bent the tip and I"d have had to change it, but not these guys, they are strong and you get so many in the box I won't have to buy needles for awhile. Yay!

I love this brand of needles. If you do a lot of sewing this is the way to by needles.

As I said above they fit my machine and work great. Since I do a lot of sewing I need to change my needle frequently so I need needles by the bulk.

I sew daily, Schmetz are my preferred needles. Chrome are excellent for long periods of sewing. Buying them in bulk is an excellent value

Do you know it is recommended to replace your needle every 8 hours of sewing? That is why this bulk package is great. Also I had heard good things about the chrome needles and wanted to try them out. I was not disappointed. I am not breaking as many needles and the stitches on moderate knits are much nicer. I would recommend theses.

As a quilter I go through lots of needles. I had bought a batch of needles from China before these and they were not even milled properly. The eye of the needle was not even in the right place and they were crooked. So I went back to the Schmetz brand and am I glad. All the great qualities that you expect with a product made for precise sewing. When I'm done with these I'll buy again. Satisfied with quality and quantity for price Too.

If you do a lot of sewing, the high upfront cost of these needles is worth it. They last a long time and are very strong.
