In my opinion, these are the only brand of machine needles I use. I normally order lower numbers, but needed these special ones for a metallic thread project. Worked well.

I've been using Schmetz needles for all my sewing projects for many years. I find them to be of high quality and last through out my projects. My serger needed a 90/14 needle for an item I was sewing. I have several different sizes of Sschmetz needles on hand for all of my projects.

These needles are excellent quality and work well. The only catch is that they have a FLAT NEEDLE SHANK, meaning that they cannot be used in industrial machines (which typically only accept a cylindrical flank needle).Other than that, they are a great general purpose needle and the 3x10 pack means you have enough needles for at least a year's worth of sewing =)
