After trying a different kit that said it would work on my vw rabbit but didn’t fit properly, I found this kit and it was a perfect fit. I wish I had seen this one the first time so I could have saved myself the hassle of trying to get the other kit to fit when it wouldn’t.

The kit comes with everything you need for a great installation. Including butt connectors, wire ties, an easy to wire harness, and wiring diagram for my car. An amazing deal for $30 - my stereo installation was a breeze and looks great.

I'm overall satisfied with everything I received and how it fit into my 2015 Beetle. I'm not sure if it's the AVH-X390BS or the mounting panel but I was expecting the radio to be flush but it sits a little recessed. The radio is slightly larger than the hole in the mounting panel. I could've modified it but I decided It was fine the way it was.The VW03B Speaker Connector fit as expected to the wiring harness.The antenna wire is a single and not a double input hookup and it works fine. If I'm not satisfied with the single I may go back and get a double input, apparently antenna is embedded in the window and splits it into two inputs.Overall good product and it meets my needs. Everything is included as pictured. I'm going to chalk it up to the radio and not the mounting panel for the fit.

Nice fit, wiring harness will not work for gti mk6, needs a relay to turn off with car.

The plastic frame fit great into my 08 rabbit the two plastic side pieces for the stereo fit great.You cannot, again cannot fit a 7inh wide deck in this frame unless you somehow cut it larger …I went with a pioneer dh 340ex from Canadian tire. This was one of the ONLY screens that I could find that wasn’t 7 inches and still high quality. There is a small gap in the height as you can see on the bottom of the stereo. (Refer to photo)The wire harness was awesome .. yes it is missing the Wire to turn the unit off when you turn the ignition off and on. And that was a simple fix .. I ran a wire from one of the any fuses on the top row into the bottom slot of the fuse. And bam there ya go

i updated my jetta 2012 radio to a touchscreen android digital player with reverse camera functionality and it was no pain job done on my own, saved me the installer fee which was more than the player cost

The product over all is good. If you want it to put in a mk4 Volkswagen, it won’t fit. I bought it for my 07 city golf and it didn’t fit. You may have to do some repinning on the wire harness. This product fit perfect in a 2014 Jetta tdi though

Perfect fit 2011 jettaIf you put a toggle switch between the red wire on the harness and the red wire from the stereo you won't have to go looking for constant power. This way you can charge your phone through the stereo without having the car on and still be able to lock your doors.
