I was using these to install new speakers in the rear of my 1992 Ford F-150 Extended Cab Pickup. The end that plugs into my wiring harness was perfect, it fit exactly. The issue I ran into was the end that plugs onto the speaker. I was using Rockford Fosgate Punch 5X7 Speakers and they use a 1/4" disconnect for the positive(+) side and a 3/16" disconnect on the negative(-) side. These have odd sizes for the disconnects, I measured them with a caliper and they appear to be 7/32" on the positive side and 5/32" on the negative side so they were just a little to small to fit on the speakers spade connectors. I clipped those ends off and put on some gold plated disconnects I picked up at the parts store and they worked perfectly after that. I included a picture of the ends side by side for comparison.

Worked Perfect on a 1999 Ford Taurus.After reading some of these reviews people should know these wires will work on models from 1986 up to 1999. Some of the models produced in late 1999 will have connectors from the 2000 and up models.

Fit 1994 F150 Extended cab stock rear speaker harness. Plugged right in. The hardest part was getting the speaker terminals to connect. As for sound quality, this harness made no difference but it was very convenient, Plug and Play.

Replaced the rear speakers and this was a quick and easy attachment to the new speakers

There was nothing physically wrong with the product. However, it is rather disappointing when you do all the work to replace the door speakers and the adapter does not fit. I thought the process would be quick and easy, but the speaker adapter did not fit my 2010 Mazda 3. The harness from the factory speaker is 4 pronged, and this Scosche harness was 2 pronged and smaller.

Works great for my 1995 F150 Eddie Bauer Supercab. Plugs directly into the speaker, and the factory harness. Makes swapping speakers a 5 minute project!

Did not fit 2002 F150. Connector to factory wiring is different.
