I thought it wasn't heavy enough. I tried pulling the tape off and all I did was pull the dispenser across the table! I thought nearly returned it. Then I decided to try a different brand of tape . The first roll I used was REALLY hard to peel (to get it started). It was shredding and peeling. I think it was sticking to itself too much. Made it too hard too roll easily and pull off the dispenser. Changed tape (just a random clear tape from the Dollar store) and it worked great! The dispenser didn't move and the tape rolls off easily! Glad I didn't return it!

Nice looking tape dispenser that works like it is supposed to. Sits firmly on the counter and makes it easy to dispense tape with one hand. Perfecto!Great price for a nice product.

It’s just not heavy enough nor the cutting area sharp enough. Too many times, I have to hold it to cut the tape.
