The product was great, well packaged, but there are some things to know! First, do not damage the fully detachable display cable from the old screen. Remove it and keep it for the new screen. Also, try to retain the covers for the 2 speakers, one on each side towards the top of the screen. Otherwise, your replaced screen will show 2 metallic sets of holes in the notches for the speakers. The cable connectors can be tricky, including the one for the power supply. You need the right type & size of screwdriver. In addition, there is a very small spacer circuit board that fits between the main board and connector. Make sure to not lose it & note its orientation, this is critical.Snap the snap-in connectors in place very carefully, ensuring they line up correctly. You should feel/hear it "click" into place. Screw in the connector end, making sure to line up the screw absolutely vertically. Very fine tweezers designed for electronics can be used to hold the screw to get it started. Be careful to not let the screwdriver slide off, it could damage the circuits around the connectors. Before putting things back together, boot up the tablet to make sure everything works. Lean the screen against something so you can see it & be careful to line it up to not put extra strain on the cables.I also reused the metal flange from the old screen that covers the snap-in connector on the screen. I used Gorilla Tape to hold the connector on the screen in place first, as it is easy to disengage it. I then used Gorilla Tape to hold the flange in place.I also used Gorilla Tape for the connector from the screen to the main board, the one that does not have a screw-in mechanism on the main board. (The other end of that cable is essentially bonded to the screen).Verify everything still works before sealing it all up:Apply some form of double-sided electronic device tape to just the outer edge of the shell, all around. Be careful to not cover the microphone, camera & privacy light at the top middle of the shell. Very carefully & gently lower the new screen onto the shell. Using your fingers as guides, make sure everything lines up before pressing the screen in place. You don't want to risk breaking the new screen disengaging it from the wrong tape contact points.Verify everything still works!

This was not an easy task but patience and some elbow grease are really all that’s needed.I used razor blades and guitar picks to separate the old screen. Then scraped off the old adhesive with a plastic chisel type tool I had from a previous phone screen job. Lighter fluid is very useful in dissolving the old adhesive. This replacement screen was a good value and perfect fit. Zero issues encountered. Job tool an hour.

My first one arrived packed well, but seemed previously opened. No adhesive was included. Screen worked but touch functionality didn't. Returned for a replacement, this one came better sealed, with tape around the screen ect. Still no adhesive. This screen worked too, and even touch... except for a solid 2 inch wide section on the right side of the screen. Better, but definitely not a functional replacement. I figured i'd say the third time is the charm, but Amazon just refunded me. I guess we've gotta keep hunting for a competent replacement.

Top stars for these guys on the packing. The screen quality is excellent. It includes the touch-sensor controller but not the shield covers. It also includes precisely cut double-sided adhesive tape to restick the screen to the case. However, it is very tricky to install because it runs the length of each side of the screen, and there are no spares if you make a mistake. So take your time.Make sure you clean off all the old adhesive tape before you apply the new ones.

I purchased an old Surface Pro 4 for my sister. Told her it's not worth it to replace the screen but she didn't want me wasting my money purchasing her a new one. I ordered this and found that the touch screen digitizer was already on the new screen. I didn't need to transplant anything from the old screen. As soon as I assembled the new screen it was working like a champ. Tested the touch screen found everything worked just as new. I was worried because I accidently broke the digitizer cable while disassembling her old surface. Good thing the Surface screen that I was sent already had the circuit board installed on it already. All I had to do was snap the cables and it's all ready to go.This is the screen that you want to get if you want to avoid flickering. It comes with a conversion cable because it's made for a Surface Pro 5. But with the conversion cable you can install it with no issues on a Surface Pro 4. The look of happiness on my sister's face after the screen replacement was well worth the effort.

They don’t provide touch motherboard. If you need it with display find different product.
