I was using it in my lake to spear a carp hit one in the head and one of the spear tips bent but it was easy to bend back so if you’re going after fish like that you might want to get a single tipped spear or just don’t hit them in the head But besides that haven’t had any problems with it

Plug the ends of spear with adhesive otherwise cavities fill up with seawater making it slower, and sink.I Used 'flooring grip tape' cut in strips for added traction around each threaded piece to aid wet grip.The spear itself isn't aligned perfect but it is sturdy and kills smaller fish!

Nice spear, well built. It is heavier than a fiberglass, the aluminum is pretty thick. I used a different tip so I can't really comment on it. Breaks down nicely for travel.

awesome product. it works well and kills fish. took down a few good size sheepshead's with the supplied tip. screw threads are a bit rough and need a bit of grease though.

Me gusto la Lanza, pero tiene varios detalles que debe mejorar. La Punta es de baja calidad, para ensamblarla tuve que meter primero un tornillo para limpiar el interior de la lanza, tenÃa residuos de metal y no podÃa ensamblarse. La calidad y peso del Aluminio me parece balanceada para pescar. El Producto es funcional y la Relación Precio-Calidad la hace Buena.I liked the Spear, but it has several details that must be improved. The Head is of poor quality, to assemble it I had to first screw in to clean the inside of the spear, it had metal residues and could not be assembled. The quality and weight of Aluminum seems balanced for fishing. The Product is functional and the Price-Quality Ratio makes it Good.

Was hesitant with some bad reviews and limited photos, but it turned out well. Solid spear, little off on straightness, but not enough to make an issue. The spear head is intended for small fish, which I think is why people run into issues with it. Also not a fan of how sharp it is, more than I'm comfortable with. But the spear itself is pretty good. Only thing I'm worried about is that the 6mm tip threading narrows at the base by almost a millimeter, which makes me suspicious. If the threading is too long for other spear tips, that could be an intended break point to punish people for using spear tips made by other manufacturers. I'll update the review about that after getting another spear tip.

This is an incredibly bad quality product. The biggest problem is it's so crooked. All the connections are at bad angles. I thought a few people mentioning the crookedness were being picky or exaggerating but it's really like a banana! Awful. When you fail your only job as a product (to be a straight spear) then you know how much attention was paid to the rest of it. The people giving it 5 stars literally have not tried to place it against a straight countertop or floor. It's also incredibly heavy and not very travel-friendly.Even worse than their fiberglass pole spears (those split in half because they're hallow and the connections break because it's just one rivet holding them) unfortunately it's hard to find good products on amazon. Will have to go with a name brand and pay for something usable.
