Very handy and inexpensive tool to take along when you go fishing- specially if you catch scaly fish and want to clean and cook on site. I like to keep the skin on for frying fish, and this tool is very efficient in cleaning the scales out.. Note that it will spray the scales all over the place, so better to use it outdoors.

This is a well made scaling knife that does what it was designed to do. Its size allows it to easily stow away. It also is easy to clean. It is a better value when compared to store bought knives.

I was blown away by how easy this scaler is to use, and at such an inexpensive price point, it is a must have kitchen gadget for any amateur fishmonger.

My mom has had one like this for decades. I don't know if this one will hold up for as long. Scales do fly around a bit though.

This works great for cleaning fish. I’ve been using it 2-3 times a week for about 2 months now and it’s holding up great. No rusts and pretty sharp

Feels like a fancy “spork†in my hand but, it does scale fish like red fish and sheep’s head. So, although I wished it felt more quality, it does what I wanted it to do.

Works to scale fish. First one came all bent up but was replaced for free almost the next day. very happy.

Not sure about the one review that said this is not easy to use. That is about the furthest thing from the truth. Very easy to use. Scales will fly off the fish, very easy & quick to scale a fish. You just have to scale against the grain of the fish scales (tail to head).

Formidable producto, anteriormente usaba un chuchillo para pan, pero las escamas volaban por todos lados y todo se ensuciaba y quedaba oliendo a pescado, con este descamador, ahorras tiempo y ya no se dispersan tanto las escamas. Excelente compra.
