This router is not the best nor is it the worst. I do woodworking on the side and this is my first cordless router. I have four other routers of different sizes and they are all corded. The router bits are not the best quality. The paint on a few of the bits interfere with the bearings and make them rough. One you use them the paint will come off and the bearings will spin freely. The bit quality really doesn’t concern me since I have complete sets of high quality router bits. For a beginner these should work perfectly fine. There is no micro adjustment! The teeth are centered between the depth markings but there is no gear to mesh with it for micro adjustments. The depth markings don’t tell you any measurements. I’m guessing the one on the left is inches and the one on the right is metric. These are my major concerns. The complete kit is very nice. The light is bright enough to see the workpiece while routings. Having an extra battery is a plus. This router will be excellent for many projects especially bookcases or shelves. If you don’t want to purchase quarter round you can make it yourself. You will have a good selection of bits for practically every project. Most deep cuts will have to be done in multiple passes to prevent tear out.Well is it worth the cost? That all depends on how much you plan to use it. Even though I am into woodworking routing is probably used the least. However it will make your project look like a million bucks once you get the hang of it and incorporate designs in the wood. If you don’t have a router and you work with wood then you definitely need one. One note, way too small for a router table.

* Overall Impression:-This is a good value for a very good quality, well made, sturdy, cordless rechargeable router that comes with a good variety of 15 bits included. It’s powerful, works well and comes with 2 batteries and a case included.* Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-Good quality in the materials, construction and finish, it’s very well made and good quality. I would think it was made by a popular name brand to see it and use it by the quality, look, feel and good performance.-Good value for the quality, features and all that’s included in the set.-Cordless, rechargeable. You don’t need to have it plugged in during use. It is fully cordless and rechargeable. (You charge the batteries outside of the router.)-Two 21V, 4.0Ah, lithium ion rechargeable batteries included, charging cable included.-Batteries are long life and rated for up to 25-30 minutes of use and have a color coded LED readout (press the button as shown in the listing pictures) to show the charge level (in bars, not a number or percentage readout).-Brushless motor.-6 variable speeds, adjustable up to 33,000 RPM.-Powerful, works well.-Adjustable depth with a quick lock adjustment.-15 different ¼†router bits included (see the listing pictures and details for the sizes). A good variety of styles are included and it’s a well thought out set.-Roller guides, straight guides, wrench included.-Has a clear transparent base and LED light to make it easy to see the work surface and area during use.-Smaller, portable, easier to use than larger routers.-Comes in a hard plastic case that holds all the items in the set well. You can fit both batteries, the charger and all the bits in the case as well. The case opens and closes easily and securely. However, it doesn’t say the word router on it, so I used a marker of my own (not included) and wrote router on the outside of the case to make it easier to tell what’s in the case.-Instructions included. You may also want to refer to the listing details and pictures for further use tips and instructions as some are also included there as well.* Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well:-No issues.* Tips & Thoughts:-Note that you charge the batteries outside of the router, removed from the router. You plug in the electric plug in to the wall and into the port on the battery.-Note that it’s fairly heavy during use between the weight of the router and the battery. It’s going to have some weight and heft to it that you’ll feel during use and when picking it up.-Be sure and wear proper safety equipment during use. I’d suggest proper eye protection and gloves.-Note that this is a router for use with the router bits included (see the listing pictures for details on the styles of router bits). You won’t be able to use it as a saw or planer, sander, it’s just for use with router bits as a router.

Spindle lock button broke within first 5 minutes. Too bad because it would have been a handy tool

SeeSii ET01 Cordless Wood Router Tool...:SeeSii is a brand I recognize with which I have some positive experience. The Router kit as sold is complete with everything needed to get started. There is NO piecemeal scavenger hunt for bits or compatible batteries. It's all there except some gloves and safety goggles.I have a piece of oak to test the router. I used two different bits; one to trim the edge and one to cut a slot. The battery does not latch onto the tool without a *hard* push. This I discovered on the first cut when the tool stopped. That resolved, I was able to make some trim cuts. I made one cut at speed 5 and the second cut at speed 6. Speed 6 gave a smoother cut. When changing bits, the bit stuck in the collet and I had to take it apart and drive it out with a rubber hammer. Then I cut a slot in the board. The first attempt was too deep and the tool could handle it but the bit got hot and the wood smoked. When I changed the depth of cut, everything went well. So a deep cut is better made in two passes. There is a gap in the base that fills with sawdust. I cleared it out with an air compressor nozzle. I was working in daylight, but I think the sawdust blocks the headlight. The kit is compact and complete and worth looking into for anyone considering a battery operated router. There are many to choose from.

Nice little wood router. Comes with two batteries and a multitude of router bits. Has very nice organized case that it comes in. It is easy to use and works quite well. Easily adjustable height. It is nice that it is cordless so you do not have to worry about the cord getting in the way. Will be using this on some larger projects when the weather warms up here. Nice little router overall!
