4 Steps of Changing Router Bits
Unscrew the chuck with 2 wrenches.
Take off the inner chuck and gasket as shown.
Let the bit go through the chuck and gasket. And plug in the machine.
Tighten the chuck with two wrenches.

The router is a good buy, it was economical and a will built tool. I thought it would be cheesy. But to my surprise it did the job I needed. Cut an edged a shelf for a safe. Totally worth it. 👌

I already own the Dewalt 20v compact so I decided to buy this router as a back up. For the money, this kit, which includes router, guide and router bits is a great value. The router feels, solid, we’ll-built and is brushless. I cut some dados and coves in poplar and the unit performed well; not sure how it will stand the test of time but so far so good. The only concern I have is the durability of the plastic hasp lever that locks the router base sleeve to the motor shaft. It needs to be opened and shut when changing bits or adjusting bit depth. Looks like tightening might do the trick if slippage becomes an issue. Anyway, I’m satisfied with the value.

I really like this small router. I had a problem where even though the height was locked in, it would slip a little and give me an uneven edge on the wood. Looked in the manual and on page 4 it says to tighten the hex nut for the clamp if it's not holding, problem solved and now my cuts are great. Would buy again if needed and works perfect with my Dewalt 20v batteries.

I actually bought this by mistake, thinking it was a Dewalt. At first I was going to return it, but I thought I’d at least give it a try. Works great, great quality. I love that it works with my Dewalt battery. Plus it comes with several accessories that the Dewalt does not. If you’re on the fence, try it!!

First vordless router but am very impressed! Works very smoothly and handles well! Have used it for creeping up on really snug fit on router table insert. Works really great! Woukd recommed to others if asked!

I like the tool very much works great with my Dewalt 20v batteries , now let's talk about the bits the case is fantastic however the first bit I pulled out yo use half way through my project (about 18") the dang wheel blew apart ,so expect to spend more money right off the bat on more bits

Very easy to use. Isn't cheaply made good quality and comes with router bits in a nice wooden box has attachments for guides and shaving shield to attach a vacuum. Has great power east and convenient to use.

This is an incredible little router. I got the cordless on for two reasons. 1. It will use the same batteries as my existingDeWalt tools. 2. It has a brushless motor.

Needed a small router for some finishing carpentry - and was able to use my Dewalt batteries - so a great economical option. Well made. Only thing that's poor quality is the hopeless manual. excellent value.

Decent router, used it quite a lot now. Getting the bits in and out isn't the best but the power is amazing. If your planning on doing loads of work with one, go dewalt. If your occasional user this is epic

Great tool, quality seems really good. Balance with a battery is weird, but so is the dewalt. I've only used it once. So far it's a very welcome part of my tool kit.
