Have bought several pumps for my pool, and none of them lasted very long so I went on the Amazon site and asked an amazon rep which pool pump should I get and the recommended Seeutek 2.0 HP Pool Pump and I couldn't be more thankful, much cheaper than the others and runs quiet and strong and is just a work horse, have run it daily on my swimming pool for a few months now and couldn't be happier, great product and great customer service from Amazon

This is the second pump i got and they both leaked this is all in one year won’t recommend sorry bad product and it was installed by a professional wont buy again

Easy install, hard wired mine, just 2 screws off back cover to remove plug and cord. Very quiet and pumps just as good as name brand so far. Instructions are not useful if you don’t know what you are doing

First I had to change everything out on my pool as my hoses wouldn't connect cause the fittings are metric. So I went with a complete PVC hookup which was working out nicely until now. The pump has a powerful leak at the bottom and partially drained my pool which I had just finally opened up from Winter. I used the pool 3 times since Memorial day and now I can't use it due to this leak. I just bought the pump last year

Replaced Sta-Rite SuperMax 1.0hp pump that was noisy with this Seeutek 2.0hp pump. Took far longer to draw water, barely moves water, and skimmer doesn't have enough suction/flow to operate properly. Very quiet, but to be expected when it doesn't do any work or move much water. 6900 GPH rating must be with extreme positive head pressure. Completely unsuitable for 20x40 inground pool with two drains, one skimmer, and two discharge outlets. Although fitting locations match old pump, all fittings are incompatible with existing pool equipment (Metric vs. SAE). Supplied with cheap metric fittings which require 1-1/2" pipe to go inside their adapters, bottlenecking flow at the pump inlet. Now must re-plumb (again) when reinstalling the original Sta-Rite pump. Not worth the time or money. As usual, inaccurate mfg. performance claims on Amazon once again result in lost time and money. Two stars because it arrived undamaged and turned on, does move water (barely), and is quiet.
