Works much better than the one it replaced. My old switch didn’t always sense you in our dark entrance way. This one works great

Was never able to get this item to function. Even bench wiring it I was unable to get the indicator light to come on, with no control of the lights. I am experienced with wiring and cannot make this control anything. My suspicion is the switch is defective.

Really like the ability to turn totally off or on with a switch. Excellent if your wiring is new.Impossible to install as a replacement switch for an older light. The wires simply did not match up and we couldn't easily fish thru new ones.Ordered 1 for a completely new installation and 1 as a replacement for a broken switch in a 1990 wired house.

Sensitive and fast on turning on. Love the overwrite feature from Auto, On and Off. With my situation, I the sensor is being covered by shelfs, so it turns off when I am out of its range and used to turn off while I was working. Now with the option to keep it turned on really helps.

After 2 months of installation, I've been noticing that the switch will turn on the lights by itself. It's installed in the garage and I've noticed the garage lights are on overnight -- there's no motion in the garage at all. Tested -- watched with a camera and nothing. Just goes on by itself. Suspect that it may be sensitive to power line noise -- what ever the reason, it's not trustworthy and being pulled out.Installed with LED Garage lights (non dimmable). It simply works and was easy to install. And, it's engineers had the insight to know that sometimes you want to over-ride the motion detection and just turn on the lights without having to wave your arms when in the middle of doing something where the sensor doesn't see you. Most other motion detectors don't have this feature and their "manual" on means that you can turn it on manually, but it will still go off according to the time set. (made the mistake of installing one of those and returned it). This one is truly manual in that you can turn it on manually and it STAYS on! Also works with non-dimmable leds - some of the others say they only work with dimmable LEDS (which doesn't make sense as motion sensor switches are on/off - no dim controls).

*Update 11-3-17*Customer Service is sending me a new unit, I will add more once I have used it to replace current unit. Swift response from customer service. Stars restored in anticipation of replacement.*Update 11-1-17*Sooo the dials for ambient light and time I was so pleased about...not so great. The door that conceals them took 2 electronics screwdrivers and about 10 minutes to partially remove without destroying it. Unfortunately I was unable to avoid chewing up the super soft edges of the plastic housing in the process, and cannot fully remove it without irreparable damage to the remaining flange. Now my brand-new switch looks pretty bad, and I can't close the cover without being *absolutely certain* that these are the setting I want *forever*, as I'm sure the next time the cover is opened will be its last.See Photos.Purchased this for a super annoying hallway that only has a light switch at one end. I was a little concerned as the current switch is dimmable, and I wouldn't want the lights on full at night, but this genius little switch has an adjustable dial - love. Super pleased. Has no trouble sensing me at the switchless end of the hall, so no more tripping over dogs. Nice.
