* The package supports two optional methods to mount the motion sensor:

The timeout feature provides seven options of 3 s, 10 s, 30 s, 1 min, 3 mins, 5 mins and 10 mins. You can select any one as your need. The default settings is ‘30 s’.
Detection range is adjustable with the motion sensor, so you can choose from Near, Mid. and Far according to the application requirement. The default setting is ‘Mid’.
As a light sensor is integrated as well, three auto-induction conditions are available to choose for the motion sensor. The default setting is ‘Available for full-day’.

The plug and motion sensor of this kit have been paired before leaving factory. A plug can be paired with 2 motion sensors; and vice versa.
Extended signal transmission range
The motion sensor (transmitter) can be mounted anywhere you want with a control distance up to 130 ft from the adapter plug (receiver).
Battery operated motion sensor
The wireless motion sensor is battery operated. A pair of AA batteries (not equipped) usually last about 6 months for use (depends on triggering frequency).

Home Depot sells a GE unit that shuts off after 10 minutes, even if you are right in front of the sensor moving around. It comes back on in a few seconds, but it is annoying.This unit is far more intelligent. As long as it detects motion, the light stays on continuously and only shuts off after 10 minutes of no motion. If you already have another light on in the room, the unit won't turn on. But if the sensor light is on first and then you turn on another light, it will continue to keep its light on as long as it detects motion.This makes it great to use for controlling the lights over the kitchen sink. When I walk in the kitchen, I have instant light. It stays on as long as I'm in the kitchen. I can turn on additional lights to work without affecting this light.This is exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this unit.

I have a garage/workshop that has no windows and is very dark. Every time I walk in I had to fumble for the light switch which is about 20 ft away. I put an LED sign up and wanted to have it light up every time I opened the door. This motion activated sensor works perfectly for my situation. The item description says it'll work with more than one plug allowing me to add another lighted sign to the same sensor, but there's no way to purchase just the plug. I'd have to buy the entire unit again so that's the only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5.

I’m using Siri to write this please excuse any strange words. I have extremely low vision and find myself wandering around in the kitchen trying to find out where things are. I put this on the corner of the table, which is next to the refrigerator and now when I get close, it lights up and it gives me a point of reference. It’s simply excellent. It’s easy to install no strange things just slap the batteries in and go. I did the whole process in about five minutes without reading any directions and the light comes on it works very well. I’m very very glad to have it and will probably purchase more as my vision becomes worse. Thank you for taking the time to read my Review But if you know somebody with low vision, I think they would love this. It just brightens up your day :-)

This is a piece of crap, don’t waste your money. I ordered one and installed it like the instructions said, it would not turn the lights on and off. Lights stayed on all the time. Ordered a new one and the same thing. I’m done with this junk!

Just love these, they work exactly as they are described. I have two rooms without wall switches and these work great for turning lights on when we walk in and the lights stay on as long as there is activity in the room, then go out after we leave.

Easy to install and so far they work great (bought more for other houses). It is so nice to have a light turn on automatically when you enter the garage without having to fumble around and try to find the light switch. These turn on as you open the door if you position them correctly, and will stay on for the time you set them to stay on. You can also set them to not turn on if there is already enough light in the room or garage.

I put brand new energizer batteries in the sensor to sense when I walk into my office, and after about 2 weeks and going to my office 3 times, the sensor stopped working.Changed the batteries and now it’s fine. Kinda sucks that it drains the batteries that fast.I will be looking into a wired solution instead of the batteries.
